Overview
Explore Rome by Vespa! Covering more ground than you would on a standard walking tour, this private vintage Vespa tour introduces you to big-name sights such as the Colosseum along with quirky attractions such as the keyhole view of St. Peter’s Basilica from Aventine Hill. Just hop on behind your guide, and hang on tight as you travel round the city like a local.
What to Expect
Start with a pickup direct from your Rome hotel by Vespa. After hopping on behind your guide, you’ll soon be zipping around the capital’s streets.

Swing past Piazza Venezia to see the striking Vittorio Emmanuele II Monument, and hear tales of modern Italian history from your guide. Continue to the Imperial Fora to learn about the life during the days of the Roman Empire, then jump off the Vespa for photos by the Colosseum.

From the iconic stadium, you’ll venture onward to find some of Rome’s lesser-visited gems. Admire the Baths of Caracalla and the Ancient Appian Way as you travel further out to the foodie enclave of Testaccio where coffee and gelato await.

Feeling relaxed, you’ll travel up Aventine Hill for a keyhole peek at St. Peter’s Basilica. From there, it’s back to your Rome hotel, checking out the chariot track of Circus Maximus along the way.

Afternoon Vespa tour of Rome

Amazing! Can’t say enough about this tour. The guides were so helpful and took us to local places and shared history we would never have heard on a formal tour. They tailored it around what we’d already seen so no double up on sites. Brilliant!...More

Wonderful Rome.

I was given the Vespa tour by my husband for my 70th birthday and it was the best present ever. Michele was my guide and although I know quite a bit about Rome his knowledge of the city kept me enthralled and entertained all morning....More

No the owners of the tour company and the Vespa's take you along for the ride. I agree with Malthus U. Please don't drive a Vespa through Rome. This is a super tour and we just loved the guides.
