Most tours include the Pantheon as a short stop on their journey around the city. With us you will make an accurate visit accompanied by a live guide, to whom you can ask all the questions you want.

Visit the Pantheon, Rome's best preserved Ancient temple and explore one of the city's most beautiful churches, home of the Inquisition that trialed scientist Galileo Galilei.

On this fascinating tour you will learn the ins and outs of the Pantheon and the Basilica of Santa Maria Sopra Minerva, led by a local expert guide that uses multimedia tools and powerful reconstructions to make you travel back in time.

What to Expect
From Piazza della Minerva in Rome, stroll with your guide to the Pantheon. The temple is widely said to be one of Ancient Rome’s best-preserved monuments; hear its history as you explore inside with your guide. Gaze up at the huge dome, which has no visible vaults or arches to support it, and learn about the architectural achievement from your guide. Tear your eyes away from the open-air oculus, which illuminates the interior and rest them on the tombs of Rome’s bygone VIPs: The likes of Raphael and Queen Margherita were laid to rest in the Pantheon. From the ancient temple, walk across to the Basilica of Santa Maria Sopra Minerva, a Gothic masterpiece built on top of pagan temples. Sculptures by Michelangelo and Bernini, 15th-century frescoes, and a Fra Angelico altar are just a few of the highlights. Your tour ends at the basilica.

We enjoyed the tour, and would recommend Virginia as a guide. Some unfortunate circumstances dampened our experience. The cathedral that was part of the tour is in renovation, so, was not accessible. There was rain and wet streets. So, our timing factored in on our overall

Having a private tour with Virginia made our visit so much more valuable. She pointed out details and filled in the background we would have missed if we didn't have her guidance. She is very knowledgeable and able to answer my architect (who studied the pantheon in school)

Of the 3 tours I booked for my trip to Rome, this was by far the most interesting and memorable. While the Santa Maria basilica was closed for restoration when we arrived, the tour guide took us to another church close by (Chiesa di Santa Maria in Aquiro) that he was able to
