We had a fabulous day with Alessandro. Tivoli is close to Rome yet worlds apart. Busy but not crowded. Villa Adriana is a trip in time to ancient Rome. Beautiful ruins and Alessandro explained everything! Wonderful guide! He made the villas come to life and took us to a fabulous restaurant in Tivoli. Our day couldn't have been any better!!

We had Alexander as a driver. He was knowledgeable, polite, and accommodating. He made a great recommendation for a lovely, scenic lunch. Pienza and Montepulciano were spectacular. We felt we were taken back to an old Italian city. I would highly recommend this tour.

Alessandro was an exceptional guide in every way. From the moment he picked us up to the time we were dropped off right outside our hotel we felt like we were spending the day with a local friend. Knowledgable and easy to be around, the day went by so fast. You will thoroughly enjoy the history of Hadrian's Villa and beautiful Tivoli! We enjoyed our time so much that we hired Alessandro to drive us to our next destination in Positano a couple of days later. He made that trip unforgettable by recommending we stop in Pompeii--a must see! We couldn't have asked for better service!

We had an amazing time exploring the Amalfi Coast with Alessandro! He was very knowledgeable and knew all the spots to stop for specialty items/food. We also visited Pompeii on the way back to Rome and it was amazing! Great experience!

We were a family of 6 and had a wonderful 2 day private tour of Rome with Alessandro . First visit to Italy for some out of group and Alessandro did a wonderful job of covering all the major sights in Rome as well as showing us some Off the beaten path gems such as the Via Appia Vecchia and the church of Quo Vadis. His insights and knowledge were so informative ! Alessandro was very flexible in our itineraries and suggested changes to make the visit more enjoyable as well as accommodating some requests of places we wanted to visit . We also booked a half day private tour with Alessandro to visit 2 favorite spots in Rome - the Basilica of S. Clemente and Basilica of St. John Lateran. Again we learned s many facts about these 2 Basilicas. We also arranged with Alessandro an overnight to visit family in the Campania Region which was a special experience - we even toured some of the sights in the region and had a great visit - Alessandro made our week in Italy worry free and we are so happy to have toured with him . We feel that we not only saw so much of Rome and learned a lot - we cannot wait to come back ! We highly recommend Alessandro and Rome-Limousines - you won’t be disappointed!!

A PERFECT day, thanks to Alessandro! We are a family of six and were planning to come to Rome at the beginning of July. We found Rome-Limousines on Trip Advisor, and began discussing plans with Alessandro. His quick response and helpful information was just the beginning of a perfect vacation! Alessandro recommended getting OUT OF Rome on the first Sunday of the month as that is when many of the attractions are open for Romans at no charge, so the city is even more full (and crazy) than usual. So, he recommended a day trip to Orvieto, Civita de Bagnoregio with a wine tasting at a family-owned and operated vineyard. Not only were we treated to an amazing Sunday that was a little slower paced and relaxed, we had the BEST day. Alessandro took us to the Duomo di Orvieto, which I will never forget, led us through the streets when we wanted to find an awesome iced coffee. He always had “a plan” in mind, it was happy to pivot to honor our special requests and changes. After a time, we proceeded to Cantine Neri where we saw how they make their wines, went deep down into their storage cave and then had the most delightful wine and olive oil tasting imaginable. After a busy day, he returned us to our hotel with plenty of time to rest up for the evening. THANK YOU, Alessandro! You made our trip fantastic!

Alessandro was fantastic! We had a wonderful day exploring Rome! We brought out 11 & 7 year old boys and he was so thoughtful of them throughout the tour! We saw all the usual tourist spots and he was so knowledgeable of it all! Our favorite spots were the less known spots by tourists and his personal thoughts were great! I can’t wait to get back to see more of Rome! I highly recommend!

The day spent with Alessandro on the Underground Tour was the highlight of our stay in Rome. His English is excellent, his car spacious and air-conditioned, and he knows his Roman history and Rome. Even before the day of the excursion, he explained that one of the underground attractions was closed and offered alternatives. We opted to see Hadrian's Villa in Tivoli and had a wonderful day full of contrasts. Two churches in Rome proper (San_Clemente_al_Laterano and Santa _Cecilia_in_Trastevere), which allowed us to understand the layering of Roman history, with excavations of Roman-era buildings and objects in the basements of the churches. One of the two catacombs along the Appian Way, where we could see how the early Christians were buried. And then an afternoon in Hadrian's Villa, a complex of ruins of around 30 buildings. Alessandro provided us with visuals of what the individual buildings had looked like which helped us understand much better the grandeur of the place. Alessandro was an excellent guide throughout the day, always concerned to point out details and highlights, and always ready to answer questions. Thank you for a great adventure!

Excellent day spent with Alessandro. Learned so much from him at each site. We saw major sites of the City. Very comfortable way to tour. Nice, clean vehicle and he parked or dropped us off and picked us up very close to each site.

My husband and I took a tour with Alessandro to the Amalfi coast. Our main focus was to see Pompeii, and everything else was a welcomed extra! We were lucky enough to have Alessandro for this trip, as we had experienced a wonderful full day tour of Rome with him the day before. Alessandro picked us up at our hotel and we began the trip down to the Amalfi coast. Alessandro mentioned that he prefers to stop in Positano and then make the way up ending in Pompeii, however, the weather was not so accommodating and so we did the tour in reverse. This was a wise move on Alessandro‘s part, and is the main reason why you would book a tour with someone so experienced. He knows what he’s doing. Pompeii was absolutely breathtaking and being in that sacred space was an honor and a privilege. My husband and I were truly moved. Positano is absolutely gorgeous. Get your camera ready to grab shots of the most beautiful terrain you’ll ever see. Alessandro also makes stops along the trip for those special, picturesque moments. Once in Positano, we were able to stroll through the beautiful town and make our way down to a restaurant for a lunch stop. There are plenty of shops and multiple options for dining. If you let Alessandro know what your needs are he is so easy to accommodate them, especially if you have mobility issues. During the trip, we made several stops for bathroom breaks, and also to experience some of the best espresso and coffee drinks. Alessandro knows all the good spots! As silly as this may seem, I always take interest in going off the beaten path to experience what every day life on the road might be like for someone who lives in Italy. Alessandro is the ultimate professional. He is kind, thoughtful, respectful, and extremely knowledgeable and organized. You won’t find a better person to spend your day with and learn all there is about Italy. I highly recommend him and his company. You will not regret booking with them. Enjoy your future trip!

My husband and I took this tour with a wonderful tour guide, Alessandro. The day started with a pick up at our hotel, and then a quick discussion about things that we would like to see, and we were on our way! Alessandro is super organized. He prepared a Pantheon visit for us, and timed all of the sites when he knew we would have the best chance to see highlights with minimal crowds. He knew what he was doing. He also prepared a table for us at a nice restaurant where we stopped for a delicious lunch. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and efficient. It was very enjoyable. We finished off the remainder of the day with the agreed upon highlights and a return to our hotel. These tours are never cheap, but they are so worth it. I don’t think we would have been able to see all of the historic sites of Rome with the amount of time we had, nor would we have learned so much about them without Alessandro’s in-depth knowledge. We highly recommend this company and highly recommend Alessandro. His passion for history and all things Rome was evident, and contagious! My husband and I agree that this tour was THE highlight of our 3 city tour of Italy. We fell in love with Rome. Alessandro was super accommodating, had wonderful ideas, adjusted the day’s plans to our needs when necessary, and made the entire day an absolute joy. There is no better way to see Rome than with Alessandro! Do it! You won’t regret it!
