Itinerary
At Alilaguna pier in front of the Royal Gardens (Giardinetti Reali), board your motorboat to set off across the Venetian Lagoon for Murano. Disembark and stroll around the island with your guide.

Stop at a glass factory, where you watch a glassblower create sculptures in a centuries-old tradition. Your guide tells you about the island’s history as the former center of European glassmaking. Visit a few sights around the island, including a church with notable mosaics.

Hop back in the boat and move onto lesser-known Torcello, with its ornate palaces and churches. Visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and the excavated ruins of the Church of Santa Fosca baptistery.

Your third stop is Burano, known for traditional lace production. Walk past the island’s colorful fishermen’s houses, and visit lace shops and the lace museum.

Finish the tour with a boat ride back to Venice.

Easy way to reach three islands with a small budget. The trip was worth going, because we were staying Venice for five days so it was nice to see some other islands. The boat was big and the atmosphere very touristic - don't expect any...More

Culture, cuisine, and creativity

We visited Murano and Burano but not Torcello on our trip to Venice. Burano is famous for its handmade lace and brightly painted houses (which the sailors did to make it easy to spot their houses and see if their wives were cheating on them)....More

Charming day

We needed a down day after the overwhelming experiences in Venice. This day was perfect for a quaint day of shopping and enjoying the culture of the surrounding islands.
