    What to Expect
Your tour will show you the most beautiful parts of the Venetian Lagoon in the comfort of a reliable and fast boat, which will lead you first to Murano, the glassmakers’ island; then Burano, famous for its crochet works; Torcello; and finally Saint Mark’s Square, the heart of Venice. During your tour your guide will explain the history and the culture of Venice and its islands and answer your questions and help you.

Your tour stops first in Murano, where you can see the glass-blowing demonstration. A long and still-thriving tradition, this art has involved whole generations of Murano residents. Starting from the Middle Ages, glassmakers have been developing a personal style so that you can see the difference between one glassmaker and another and recognize the brand.

Your tour continues to Burano. The heart of this island is Baldassarre Galuppi’s Square, which is the only square of the island. Burano’s bell tower is well-known because it is leaning. This characteristic occurred due to a structural failure of the stilts under the tower. Here you will see sailors’ colorful houses. Burano is famous for its crochet works, but also for its small, brightly painted houses which are popular with artists.

The next stop is Torcello, one of the most ancient and rich settlements of the lagoon where you can enjoy the Square, Santa Fosca’s Church, “Ponte del Diaolo” and many more interesting places.

You will have approximately 45 minutes on each island.

Once you have experienced Torcello’s specialties, your tour ends in Saint Mark’s Square, the heart of Venice. Here you can stroll around immersed in art, history, and astonishing views including the square, the bell tower, colonnades and much more.

Really enjoyed seeing Murano and Burano but I don't think Torcello was worth it. I would have preferred longer in Murano. You are picked up at the back of KFC and dropped off at St Mark's Square. You get to see glass making at Murano...More

Really enjoyed visiting these three islands, Murano for its hand blown glass, Torcello for the lovely canal and gardens and Burano for the colored houses and lace. Just not enough time on each.

Nice to see the glassmakers at work on Murano and Burano was absolutely picturesque, but Torcello was a waste of time. This is a good trip if you have little time in Venice, and do not mind being herded around, but you can actually buy...More

Of course these islands are beautiful, but DO NOT use Vidali. It is sold as a 5 hour tour, which I only purchased because of the discount that made it sound more valuable than it is. Do not waste your precious time in Italy on...More

Booking the tour was relatively easy and the price is very good. Great value for money. However I found it a little fraudulent that the guides tried to charge an extra €5 to drop me off at P. Roma which is one of the departure...More
