To discover the highlights of a city’s food, you have two options: spend days trying out restaurant recommendations or take a food tour. This time-saving half-day Verona food tour covers local products like “soppressa” salami, Monte Veronese cheese, and regional wine, alongside Italian classics. See some of the city’s top landmarks as you snack and stroll.

What to Expect

Join your guide and small group in the center of Verona, and start the day the Italian way: with an espresso and a pastry. Next, head to a historic store to sample typical Verona products like “soppressa” salami and Monte Veronese cheese.

After visiting a pasta workshop to see how tortellini are made and sampling the fresh pasta, learn about wine production in a local wine shop. Sample a local variety, perhaps Prosecco, Valpolicella, or Amarone, before finishing your tour in central Verona.

Please note that this tour itinerary is not set in stone: your guide may adjust it to reflect store opening and closing times.

We did the Food and Wine walking tour. We found our Dianna to be most friendly and informative. The food and wine sampled was really delicious and the background and history was thoroughly explained. It was a great experience and one we would highly recommend.
