Virginia provided a wonderfully paced walk around Verona showing hidden gems as well as explaining the history of this beautiful city. We had great tastings (a Veronese pastry/cappuccino, wines, risotto, gelato) as we were introduced to the city. I would recommend this to someone for their first day in Verona. Virginia was interesting and accommodating of the interests of the group.

We’ve lived in Italia for two years and have taken many tours, but it isn’t often that a tour guide becomes part of our family. Well, it happened with Arianna’s “Food, Wine & History” Tour!!!

In addition to being one of the nicest, warmest professionals we’ve ever met, her passion for the job she does is unreal! We encourage you to take this tour when you first arrive in Verona. That way, you’ll have a great foundation of knowledge for the rest of your stay. The information was awesome, the lunch was delicious and the wine… OMG, Soave is our new favorite!

Our 10-month-old daughter LOVED Arianna, so she will forever be Zia Arianna to our family.

Buon viaggio!

There is no way that Verona would’ve been so exciting without the excellent tour with Sara. We started off at a small patisserie shop with the most exquisite cakes. Our tour was the perfect mix of history and food ! The pasta makers we stopped off at for lunch were amazing. It was the best pasta I’ve tasted in my life ! The finale was wine tasting with Franco and as Sara has worked for 3 different wine companies in her career, she has excellent knowledge of wines. The tour may sound like a lot of money but it is definitely worth it. Grazie Sara and see you in the future for the truffle tour ! 😃

We had been to Verona before, and as it’s quite small we wanted something different to do .Sadly I have forgotten our guides name but she was a young lady from Verona and was so passionate about her hometown.
We had a few stops , coffee and cake , wine and savoury breads, delicious selections of hand made tortellini, trip on the cable car with fabulous views of town and ending up at a wine tasting, with salami and cheese alongside.
We visited parts of town we hadn’t seen before, offering wonderful osterias which we returned to for dinner , great food away from the bustle of town .We were told all about the history of the town .
This was the highlight of our trip , and although not cheap really felt it was worth it,

Verona is one of our favorite cities in Italy and this is our second time on this tour with Virginia (first in August 2019 and then again September 2021)! It is a great combination of a walking history tour and a food & wine tasting tour. Virginia is a delight and we now consider her a friend! We highly recommend this tour for a great introduction to Verona. We hope to be back again!

Virginia accommodated me very last minute with a food & city tour. Loved walking around with her telling me all the details I would not have noticed on my own. She organized a last minute gnocci lunch on my request. We visited all the landmarks & a wonderful wineshop Bacco. Amidst the corona virus crisis in Italy Virginia is staying positive. A wonderful city everyone should take some time to visit. And when you do make sure to contact Virginia for a tour!

Verona is sentimental to me and and Virginia made it a special treat for me and my husband with a personal tour of the most glamorous areas of Verona and the most traditional. I remember the smell of this place and the spellbinding history that saturates the people and their ways. We spent New Years Eve 2019 here and it was as romantic as they say. We met your wonderful friend at Bacco and have memories to last a lifetime. Thank you Virginia for the insight and personal touch.

Myself and a friend were visiting Verona for the opera and I cam across this tour. It was fabulous, Virginia our guide was extremely knowledgeable and funny. A great selection of tastings starting with local pastries and coffee through to cheese, salami, olive oil and wine tasting and a trip up in the funicular to see the beautiful views of the city.

I would definitely recomend this tour for anyone visiting Verona, a great way to see the city.

Sara was spectacular! See all of the sights and live like a local for a few hours! Don't skip this tour or you will miss many of the hidden historical and folklore stories! The food was a great experience---try the truffle pasta!! The wines are good as well and indicative of the region! By the end of the tour Sara is a part of your family! Take this tour early as possible as you also get to see the lay of the city along the tour which makes it easy to circle back to the shops and museums you want to see!
