Giuseppe and Thomaso were welcoming and fantastic instructors and tour guides. Fun way to beat the heat and explore Tuscany.
We were transported via bus about 20 mins outside of city to the office where the Vespas were located.
For safety, all drivers of Vespas must pass a “test” on the office grounds on the Vespas. Instructions and opportunity was provided. Fairly simple after a few test drives in their driveway. All 15 drivers passed. Once on the road, it was evident the “test” was the perfect preparation for the tour.
We stopped once for a picture, then again at a vineyard to see the rows of grape plants.
Ride continued around beautiful country roads. Guiseppe and Thomaso served as lead and tail drivers. Road about 1 hour then back to their office.
Walked around corner to 1st wine testing and info then bus picked us up and drive about 10 mins to next winery. Wonderful tour and Tuscan lunch.
Returned to Florence office via bus.
Wonderful way to beat the heat on a Vespa, explore Tuscany and enjoy the winery.
Family of 4 with 2 college boys. Highly recommended.
Outstanding service.

Many people have done scooter trips across Tuscany but I doubt many did in the middle of a thunderstorm! And yet it was still the highlight of our trip!! We were almost blown off our scooters at one stage after being hit with a thunderstorm mid way through our trip. Pelleted with rain, branches and some roof tiles, we were forced to take shelter in a small Tuscany village. There an elderly gentleman took us in, gave us food and drink and showed us his WWII memorabilia. Once the storm passed we continued on our way, poncho protected from any further drizzle. The two winery's still put on a fantastic spread of food, wine and tour of their production facilities despite one being without power after the storm. Although what seemed a disaster as we were going through it, in the end it made the trip! Mati, Tommy, and Leonardo were brilliant guides, making the call when needed to pull us off the road and still managing to provide us with a brilliant trip. Even in the midst of storm, the Tuscany countryside was beautiful to behold and the winery's were a fantastic experience with the wine among the best we have tasted on our trip. Couldn't recommend the experience higher and hope you get to have the experience of getting hit with a thunderstorm as we did! 😂

I can't speak more highly of this tour. After meeting the tour group at their downtown Florence office location, you're bussed outside the city to a location where they show you how to ride the Vespa, let you practice in the parking lot, and ultimately determine if you can ride on your own or follow in a shuttle.

Afterwards, you spend a couple hours riding the Vespas through the Tuscan countryside. There are a couple stops to see some landmarks, take photos, and learn about the history of the region. The entire ride is picturesque and a lot of fun.

Once the Vespa part of the tour is over, you ride them back to the original location and then they bus you to two wineries for tastings and a tour of the facility. The second one provides lunch as well.

The guides were friendly, helpful, and patient.

This tour is a must-do if you find yourself in Florence.

We had never driven a Vespa and naturally had anxiety about it . First off the tour drives you to the countryside where you have an area to learn how to drive the Vespa rather than other tours where you learn and drive from the city which is more dangerous . The instructors were patient and careful allowing the time to learn and simplified instructions . Once on the road the instructors were always watching and guiding us with one in front and one in back and the back driver would many times drive up to help block intersections for us to cross together safely . Ultimately we had an amazing yet safe time ! Our stops at amazing view points and two vineyard / oil producers was educational and had yummy tasting . Would definitely recommend ! By the way they have two size Vespa options which also allow for better control for some . This tour was a highlight of our trip

One of the most amazing tours I’ve ever been on! The tour began with being driven outside of Florence to where the Vespas were parked in a private car park. Whilst on this drive, the tour guide told us all different historical facts and stories about the area and city. Once we were at the private car park, we all test drove the Vespas until we were fully comfortable, before setting off on the most amazing scenic route. We stopped at a couple of beautiful picture spots, before heading back to the Vespa car park from where we set off on our afternoon of two visits to wineries and a lovely lunch. From start to finish, the experience was incredible - a must do in Florence and would love to do again!

This was by far my favorite thing I did in Florence (and likely in all of my Italy trip). Riding around in vespas was so much fun. Although it took a little practice to become comfortable and definitely requires some coordination skills. The first winery we went to [Diadema] was okay, felt a bit rushed, only gave us two wines to taste and some olive oil and expected us to purchase something, we learned about the cellar and olive oil making process from our Vespa tour guide (not the winery owners) which seemed odd. The second winery [Bartolini Baldelli] WAS MUCH BETTER, we got a nice tour of the cellars, we had a nice wine and lunch pairing and Giovanna entertained us with stories and let us try her grappa. Honestly I would recommend cutting out Diadema and including some other winery on this tour. OVERALL the vespa part was the best and I wish we had more time to ride around, vs squeezing in two wineries.

We are at the more 'senior' end of the typical age range to ride on a Vespa for the first time but were very excited for the day.
The day starts with a riding lesson / test to show the instructors we were competent enough to ride on the main road. To be honest the gravel area for the test was harder than the road. Throughout the day Tania our instructor was great and very patient!
As we set off on our trip it started to rain and by the time we reached the nearby town the rain had turned into a monsoon weather condition! As a result the ride was suspended and we were transported for the remainder of the trip by bus initially to a small town which had some nice shops and would have had a market on better weather days. This was followed up by two visits to vineyards, both of which were really enjoyable.
We did managed to have another go on the Vespas takin them back the short journey to the base.
All in all it would have been great to ride the Vespas on the whole tour but the weather conditions made it almost more of a day to remember!

Such a fun experience! Would highly recommend but would caution that driving a Vespa in the hills of Tuscany requires confidence and I would say prior Vespa/motor bike experience would be strongly encouraged. The guides will help instruct how to ride the Vespa and ultimately make the decision if they feel confident in you driving or not.

We went to some stunning spots to walk around and break up the Vespa driving. Was about an hour of Vespa driving to different spots and then a bus took us to two different wineries, both gorgeous with good wines! We only got to try 2 wines at the first and 3 at the second, wish we could’ve had the option to order a glass and walk around. But overall, would highly recommend this experience! Great way to see the Tuscan hills.

Everything was amazing from beginning to end, people were so friendly, the tour guys were amazing❤️ It was so hot because Italy is having an extreme heat wave, but the tour guides did all they could to make our visit enjoyable. Amazing scenery during a 90 min vespa ride. We headed to 2 wineries with a very nice light dinner at the end. You take a 30 minute bus ride from Florence to the Vespas, it was OK I just didn’t realize we don’t head out of the city, probably best as some people struggled getting used to the Vespa - But once again the tour guides were amazing, they just put those people on the back of their bikes and made them feel very comfortable.

We were transported by bus from the Florencetown office to a location to try the Vespa bikes. I appreciated that they gave us time to practice and for safety reasons decided my daughters should ride in the cart with a driver. The tour ticket stated it would last from 9am-2:30 so I booked a follow up tour at 4:30pm the same day. The initial part of the tour was fun and we rode the Vespas along the roads in Tuscany. We made a couple of stops where the winery people talked about their products and how they are made. We returned the Vespas and were transported by bus to the finally winery for lunch and a tour. By this time it was 2-2:30. The tour guide left us in the hands of the wine owner who really struggled to keep us occupied. Apparently the bus driver took our guide back to the office and was coming back to get the group. This extended the tour unnecessarily to 4;15 by the time we returned. We barely made our next stop. The last 2-3 hours of this tour was completely unnecessary and I'm not sure why they extended the time so much. Everyone in the group was frustrated and just wanted to go back once lunch was done. Not sure I would book this again.
