Overview

No visit to Florence is complete without a trip to the Tuscan countryside. Alleviate the hassle of public transport or renting a car on a stress-free day trip to the Chianti wine region, a convenient way to escape the city. Travel with ease between two Chianti wineries, and sample local wine and Tuscan specialties, all of which are included in this tour price. Plus, a small group limited to 15 means you receive personalized attention from your guide.

What to Expect

Depart from a meeting point in central Florence, and travel toward Tuscany’s wine country in an air-conditioned coach limited to 15 passengers. On arrival at the first wine estate in Chianti, learn about the farm and vineyard before sampling three wine options paired with olive oil and bread.

At the next winery, take a tour of the wine cellars, and learn about a different production process. Pleasure your palate with three more wine options accompanied by Tuscan specialties such as cold cuts, bruschetta, salami, and cheese.

This wine-tasting tour concludes with drop-off at your original departure point in Florence.

Awesome!

We had a wonderful time on this wine tasting tour. Met some great people and had great wine and food. It was cold and raining, but we still had a blast! Highly recommend.

The trip is about 45 minutes to the first winery. The second winery is literally 2-3 minutes from the first. I would estimate it was a total of 4 hours or so.
