Wonderful day spent touring the Tuscan country side. All 3 towns were lovely places to explore without the usual throngs of tourists. The 2 winery tours were informative and the wine and cheese pairings were delicious. Our tour guide, Renata, worked tirelessly to share her knowledge of the area as well as translating between 3 languages effortlessly. Kudos to our amazing driver, Franco, who negotiated hairpin turns and roundabouts with ease and care. I highly recommend this day trip!

Full day (12 hours) trip. Prepare to climb up in Montepulciano. Our guide Valentina was amazing. Allowed us to have a coffee stop in the morning (tour start pretty early) and then 2 extra small stops to take pictures of Toscana's landscapes and have a view on Russell Crow's Gladiator's villa (lots of tourist near its gate).
First stop was in Montepulciano. Climb up from the bus drop, little stop for pictures and then walk to the wine cellar. Little overview in the cellar and then wine (Vino Nobile) and cheese tasting. You'll need to pair provided types of chees (all pecorino) with wines.
Second stop was in medieval town Pienza, lots of time to walk around and check Cathedral and local shops where you can taste cheese (it's a pecorino cheese land!) and other products and have lunch. Beautiful views and interesting streets, like Amore, Bacio, but be aware of Abandonment street too!
Then we had scenic drive in Toscana to Montalcino. Before last wine tasting (be aware, it was like happy hour - wine, no food! ) we had some time to explore this town too, but not much to see, so probably would be better to have more time in Pienza instead.

We had a very good time with Valentina as a guide. Wine tasting was a good experience for someone who doesn’t know anything about it. We could admire little, medieval, Italian villages and enjoy the slow- life of the countryside.

A little on the pricier side, but well-worth it if you're interested in getting a more complete experience of Tuscany. Absolutely stunning views and delicious wine. Group is a little on the larger size (I think we were around 40 people, altogether), but still manageable. Thank you Constantino (our Guide) and Claudio (our Driver) for everything!! You guys were great!

The Val d’Orcia tour is the perfect opportunity to explore the authentic beauty of Tuscany. Great views, stops in picturesque villages and tasting of a selection of fine wines. Pienza was my favourite stop with its charming little streets. Also, our tour guide, Constantino, was very funny and provided us with the essential information we needed to know.

Thanks to Helena this trip is awesome, I didn’t like the winery in Montelpuciano, maybe you could change, but I love Pienza and the best of this trip is Padelletti at Brunello, it makes this trip worthwhile. Montalcino is just a gorgeous town with beautiful people and the Padelleti.

Fantastic day out. Marco and Luca were super hosts. Marco was incredibly enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. Huge passion for his job and took extra care of guests. Great pace to what potentially could be a long day. Beautiful stops and great value for money.
