Our guide was the best!!
Oct 2019
Four of us took the Tuscany Grand Tour while we were in Florence last month. The small towns were interesting, if maybe a bit too touristy. We had never heard of the great race in Siena before, and were intrigued with just how much the town lived for this competition. Exciting stuff... made us want to come back to witness the next one.
By far, the best part of this tour was our guide, Marta, who was incredibly personable and friendly. She provided us with typical Italian tunes (with translations) as we drove from town to town... ending with a karaoke type singalong on our return trip. Her sense of humor was infectious, and left us all feeling like this was the best trip of our 3 week vacation.

Tuscany Overview
Oct 2019 • Solo
I had a short time in Italy and this was a great way to see a little bit of everything. Had a separate tour guide in Siena, spent the longest time there. Very interesting, tour guide was great. Had a little over an hour in San Gimignano. Lunch at the winery was wonderful, beautiful setting, delicious lunch. Ended with about an hour in Pisa. Not really enough time to go into any museums or anything but if you just want to touch on all, this was a great way to do it.

Great day in the Tuscan sun!
Sep 2019 • Couples
Our guide Veronica really made a difference, she had great local knowledge that extended beyond the places we visited. The locations visited were great however more time in Sienna would have been appreciated. The lunch venue and menu were very good and plentiful.

A great tour to see the area in one day
I would recommend this tour for those that want to see Tuscany in a day. The tour is just as advertised. I felt between the guide, transportation, lunch, and of course, wine, this was a great bargain. Giovanni was a wonderful guide. We were given ample time on our own at each location to tour at our pace. The wine and food were fantastic. This tour lasted about 11 hours. I think we all caught a little nap in the car after our wine tasting and lunch. There is quite a bit of time in the car as the locations are spread out. You would spend much more than this if you decided to visit all of these places on your own.

Amazing tour
The description is perfect - one full day to see so much in Tuscany. Our guide (Lucinda (sp?)) was such an amazing guide adding valuable insight along the way about not only the culture of the region but also the history.
The amount of time spent in each location I think was sufficient enough to soak it in and learn without being rushed through it all.
I highly recommend.

We had 6 in our group from 3 different countries and Luciana was our excellent guide, knowledgeable and entertaining. A full day but just beautiful towns and countryside with enough time to explore on our own in Pisa and San Gimignano. Thoroughly recommend this tour.

The small group tour was fantastic. Luca was our guide and provided so much information and was very friendly and made our tour one of the best I have been on. The places we visited were lovely and the winery and the lunch were great. Only 4 of us on our tour plus the guide so was a great experience which you cannot get on a huge bus. I highly recommend.

Terrific tour - Fantastic tour guide
May 2018 • Couples
Our group of four had the tour to ourselves and loved the time we spent during the Grand Tour. Riccardo is not only an excellent, knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide, but also an amateur historian with a philosophical touch thrown in. He and Paola made Tuscany come to life for us both through the stops we made and their passion for the Tuscany they love. Additionally, they were sensitive to any personal needs we had, i.e., more frequent rests on walking tours etc.

The schedule was well timed, but unfortunately the local Sienna police threw a wrench in it by stopping the tour van for some obscure/arcane tour vehicle regulation which took an hour to resolve and ended up a draw between the tour company and the police. Riccardo, who was not at fault, handled the situation with grace and humor and adjusted the remainder of the schedule to our preferences as well as treating us to an unscheduled appetizer and drinks at our last stop.

If you will only be in the Florence/Rome area for a few days, make sure that you take Tuscany Grand Tour in order to see this lovely, historical part of Italy with its own culture, wonderful walled cities, beautiful vineyards and olive groves and people who love their homeland.

Fantastic day out
May 2018 • Solo
What a wonderful way to see Tuscany in a day! We had a group of 5, so it was a very comfortably sized tour. Our guide Veronica was passionate and knowledgeable. There was a good mix of guided tour time and free time, although the stop in Pisa could definately be shorter, or alternatively it could be advised what time you will be there so you could pre book tickets to climb the tower.

While the towns were all lovely, for me the highlight was seeing the beautiful Tuscan landscape.

Fantastic day in a beautiful part of the world
Apr 2018 • Friends
We were a group of 6 and had a lovely day touring Tuscany with Riccardo. Riccardo was so friendly and informative. We had a great mix of "tour time" and "free time" . We enjoyed a lovely lunch at a "Chanti" vineyard and finished the day off with an aperitif in Lucca. Can't recommend Riccardo enough.
