This was a fun and relaxing way to end our day in Amsterdam. Max was a wonderful guide, full of interesting trivia and stories. We felt very safe and comfortable, and highly recommend first time visitors to take the tour.

My husband and I spent a few days in Amsterdam, and we decided to include this tour in our itinerary. The booking process was quick and smooth, and Tony quickly reached out to me to firm up the exact time we wished to begin our tour. On the day of the tour, we easily found our tour guide, Stan, at the appropriate meeting spot near Centraal Station. We spent the next several hours crisscrossing De Wallen. Stan did a fantastic job of presenting the history of the Red Light District, as well as explaining current trends and norms regarding this aspect of Amsterdam's culture and nightlife. (Being from New Orleans, I can honestly say that we were neither shocked nor offended by anything we saw or heard in the red Light District.) Our time with Stan felt less like being "on a tour" and more like being "out for an evening with a friend". We stopped for a drink at Wynand Fockink Proeflokaal and Spirits, and then when we asked for a suggestion for a place for dinner, Stan brought us to Il Pacioccone (a lovely Italian restaurant just off the Singel. Overall we had an absolutely wonderful time on this tour. I would highly recommend it!

Max was amazing! Our two hours walking tour was very informative and full of fun stories. We got to know the history of Amsterdam, the history behind the remarkable buildings and some hidden gems, why the architecture is the way it is, and the etiquette around the city. I would highly recommend touring with him, he is a real local pro.

Its a very good private walking tour given to us by Tour guide Katherine. She is very knowledgeable, as well as kind. We highly recommend this private tour of RedLight District with her if you are a family with a minor. She showed us a different perspective of the Red Light District.

It was a great tour with Stan, our guide. The tour was really private, meaning you have your own guide.
The streets were very quite because of the corona measurements, but the area was still very active.
Stan had a lot of knowledge about Amsterdam and the Red Light District.
It was such a great experience!
Highly recommended!

One of the best tours we ever did! This with our guide Tony. Anybody visiting Amsterdam should visit the Red Light District and do this with Trigger Tours.
Walking here by yourself you would miss out so much information and many hidden gems.
Our guide, Tony, was amazing and really knowledgeable about the area and about Amsterdam in general. We learned about the history of the area and its prostution and about the coffeeshop culture.
Five stars for this amazing tour!

We had a wonderful experience with thistour and our guide Peter.
The area is so much different than where we come from, here in Nevada. So much history and culture behind the Red Light.
Great tour and informative guide.

My bf and I took a private tour of the Red Light District, Chinatown, and of course the coffee shop culture of Amsterdam with Tony and had a blast! Learned a lot of background history, got a personal guided tour of the RLD, and even got to partake in the coffee shop madness!!! Tony was great and very patient with us as we took as many pictures and videos as we could. Sex museum option at the end is a fun experience - for adults. Thanks ,Tony!

We were a little intimidated by the red light district and the coffee shop culture when we first arrived. Tony walked us around and got us feeling much more comfortable. We discussed the history of the city and the red light district before showing us the different clubs and even showed us how to use the sex booth. We basically went in and saw what it was like and left. Best thing is that he works with you privately with your comfort. He helped us order in a coffee shop and sat with us for a minute as well. I’d recommend this tour to anyone at any comfort left. It’s nice to begin your visit with an insider. Also it’s cheaper if you book directly from trigger tours. Google it.

Does the visit to the coffee shop(s) include any purchases and/or are you allowed to make a purchase (s)?
Hi planning on visiting Amsterdam this Sept. 2022. Interested in this tour. But a few questions. I see it is a 2 1/2 hour walking tour. I am a senior woman of 70 years young. Will there be stops to rest or sit or is tour non stop walking?: Concerned if I can manage. Also, if I can how many people in the group. Also, travelling alone safety is my concern. Looking forward to your response. Thanks Cleo

Hey, for some reason the tour appears to be a third of the price per person when it shows up on the TripAdvisor list, but as soon as I try to book the price is 3times more expensive? Is that correct?

Message the tour guide directly and he will will tell you which is best route to book it and might offer a better price.
When I go to book the tour it doesn't give me a time choice. How do select your time to start the tour.

As stated, it's a walking tour. No reason you can't take a stroller. My husband and I had a wonderful guide who taught us many things about the history of the area. We thought the tour was great!
