This tour makes it super easy to pack in a little daytime history in between exploring Amsterdam’s vibrant nightlife. Even if you’re planning on visiting the Anne Frank House separately on your own, this tour follows her path through city’s the Jewish Quarter with a guide who’s well brushed up on his WWII history.

What to Expect

Your walking tour of Amsterdam’s Jewish Quarter starts at an easy-to-find central meeting spot. Once the group of no more than 15 has assembled, you’ll follow your guide to explore the area on foot, tracing Anne Frank’s footsteps during WWII.

Get helpful insights on the history of the city during WWII, as well as information on Anne Frank and her family. Your guide will share documents and pictures that relate to stories from the era. You’ll learn about how families, such as the Franks, were offered secret hiding places.

Stop at the Jewish Historical Museum, the Auschwitz Monument, and the Portuguese Synagogue.

Your tour ends outside Anne Frank House where you can choose to wait in line to explore the museum on your own (own expense) or continue on with your day in Amsterdam.

Amazing Experience!

This was one of the best tours I have ever been on! We were not sure whether or not we'd be able to get last minute tickets to visit the Anne Frank house so we decided to do this tour instead. It was really cold...More

Great Job by Talia!

The walking tour of the Jewish Quarter was excellent. Our guide, Talia, was very knowledgeable, in addition to being friendly, punctual, and thorough. We learned a great deal and had fun doing so. I'd highly recommend this tour.

Good way to start your visit

We were only in Amsterdam for one day. We did this tour at the beginning of our visit and glad we did because it gave us a base for it's history.

Informative tour, a must in Amsterdam

Really interesting tour. Raoul our guide was brilliant - thank you. The tour took us to different sites around the city explaining the wider context of what was going on in the lead up to and during Anne’s time in Amsterdam. A must do tour.

Why not consider the Metro? From Centraal Station lines 51,53, or 54 will get you to the Waterlooplein Station (2 stops) in 5 minutes. From there, a 2-3 minute walk will get you to the Jewish Museum. Enjoy the tour!
