Lisbon Tram 28: Campo de Ourique Food and Cultural Tour

Overview
Experience Lisbon like a local on a walking tour that explores Lisbon food in a non-touristy neighborhood. You’ll pause for a series of 10 tastings and five drinks while walking one mile (1.6 km.) over mostly flat terrain, learning about about life in Lisbon along the way. This tour is a great way to discover Lisbon beyond tourist sites, and it’s limited to 12 travelers to ensure personal service.
What to Expect
Make your way to a location on the historic Tram 28 line, then set out on foot through a vibrant local neighborhood.

The guide will share insights into Lisbon food and culture as you stroll to a series of six stops, which include 10 food tastings and five different drinks, both non-alcoholic and alcoholic. Tastings are a delicious surprise, but some highlights include a restaurant that specializes in pulled pork, a bakery with indulgent chocolate cake, a seafood spot, and local markets.

During the tour, take advantage of your time with a local, food-loving guide to ask questions about what to eat, drink, and experience while visiting Lisbon, the vibrant heart of the Portuguese food scene.

Degustation by Foot with matching Wines

Partner and I joined a fun group of 6 other holiday food lovers for a fun and informative walk around a very pretty (less touristy) part of Lisbon. Tried lots of unique Portuguese treats and was very full and content in completion. Madalena was a...More

A tasty experience that felt personal

Really enjoyed my food tasting tour with our guide Filipa. She was very friendly - we had a mix of different aged children and she was excellent at keeping the little 5 year old engaged (not easy when all she wanted to eat was bread!)...More

A Novelty taste of Wine, Food, and Living, in Lisboa

With verve and brio, my family and I were greeted by the lovely Felipa, and Ana, who took our group through a culinary walk through one of Lisbon's vibrant neighborhoods. Ranging from the "best chocolate cake" in the world, mussels, pork sandwiches, hearty stews, and...More

There are probably only about 1-2 dishes that might contain dairy on this tour. I'm not sure if you'd be able to have an alternative to these dishes, but it's pretty filling anyway, so you may enjoy the respite from food!

Greetings leeivc, the guides can accommodate your dairy allergies. On our food tour, only the desserts had any dairy products.

I'd book a later tour just in case - you'll need to get from your ship up to the cemetery right at the top of Lisbon so it could be a bit tight.
