What to Expect
Book your preferred tour option and depart central Athens for Delphi by climate-controlled coach. En route, hear about the ancient Greek civilization that thrived from the eighth century BC to 400 AD and see Levadia and Arachova, towns known for their colored carpets. Once in Delphi, head to the UNESCO-listed mountainside archaeological site, one of Greece’s most significant. Next, tour the ruins as your guide sheds light on the site’s oracle, an ancient priestess who conveyed messages from the god Apollo. Admire the Temple of Apollo and other monuments, and then visit the Archaeological Museum to view its artifacts, including the Charioteer of Delphi and Sphinx of Naxos. Following a hotel lunch or free time (depending on selected option), return to Athens, stopping in Arachova along the way to stretch your legs and grab a coffee (own expense). Your trip concludes at the original Athens starting point.

Pickup time and location was confusing, when booking I was told 8:30am at Leoforos Vasilisis Amalias 10. But the day before I had a last minute message saying 7:45am at central Athens hotel, with no address. The app used to tour was crackly and often cut out, it was the free

Dear client, We are thanking you for your feedback. Hotel Amalia is our departure point . The day before we send you the message to download the application that we offer without any extra CHARGE for free as due of the Covid19 it is mandatory to hear the guide in the sites and museums from earphones. With free app you are not paying any extra costs in the museums for any audio systems. Also in the same mail we gave pick up time 07:45 from hotel Athens Center for bus pick up service as in your reservation you had written this hotel with its addresswas which was finally closed and we delayed all the pick up service when we tried to meet you in the morning... and actually you never responde to our message to inform us that you will come to the Amalia. Anyway we are very glad that after our great efforts your comments for the tour and the guide are good and you had good experience in your tour to Delphi. Kind regards, Hara Kritikidou/Customer Service Manager
