Overview
The UNESCO World Heritage Site, Thingvellir National Park, is home to some of Iceland’s most amazing natural attractions, but the distances between the sites makes reaching them a challenge. On this tour, snorkel in the clear waters at Silfra and explore natural features on the Golden Circle route—including Gullfoss waterfall—with your travel, entrance fees, and equipment all included.
What to Expect
Following a morning pickup at your accommodation in Reykjavik, travel to the UNESCO-listed Thingvellir National Park and enjoy sweeping views of the Icelandic countryside.

First, head to Silfra, a dive spot where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet and listen as your guide explains how to stay warm and comfortable during your 30- to 40-minute snorkeling session. All necessary equipment is provided on your tour, leaving you free to relax and enjoy the experience.

Hit popular dive sites, including Silfra Hall, Silfra Cathedral, and Silfra Lagoon, and enjoy some of the clearest waters and finest snorkeling conditions in the world. Afterward, warm back up with hot chocolate and cookies.

Next, spin onward along the Golden Circle route to top natural attractions, including Geysir and Gullfoss waterfall. With your guide to lead the way, see the sites on foot from the best angles and gain insight into the geothermal forces at work.

When your time in Thingvellir National Park comes to an end, return to your accommodation in Reykjavik to conclude your tour.

Please note: During summer (April–August) the tour will begin with the Golden Circle and end with snorkeling at Silfra.
