The ways of taste more than a simple tour, it is a real journey to discover the knowledge and flavors of this magnificent land that is Cilento. I designed and realized this tour to share with you the excellences of this territory, between history, culture and gastronomy. I have selected the best companies of wines, extra virgin olive oil, buffalo mozzarella and Cilento white fig and you will discover the history of each one, you will visit the working environments, but above all you will delight your palate with products with unique flavors. I will also tell you a story from 2500 years ago, thanks to a guided tour of the archaeological site of the ancient Greek-Roman city of Paestum and the treasures preserved in the National Museum. Only at the end of this tour, away from stress, and enjoying the benefits of the Mediterranean Diet, can you say that you have really known and discovered a rich and pristine land, a true human destination: the Cilento!

My family and our friends went on a boat tour of the Cilento Coast with Nicola this summer. It was a WONDERFUL day. The boat was comfortable, clean, shaded and large for 10 people. The day started at 10am and we returned to port at 5pm - and the time flew by! Nicola and his boat captain took us down the coast to a swimming spot and then to the Isola di Licosa for more swimming and a beautiful lunch. Nicola gave us a very informative history about the area and was a perfect host. He provided a delicious boat picnic complete with drinks and dessert. We would definitely book his tours again, in fact, we would do the boat tour again! I recommend bringing water shoes, sunscreen and any water toys you use for your kids. Nicola provided towels and had some noodles to float on during our trip - which was very nice. Nicola speaks very well in English and really makes all his guests very comfortable.

We organized a boat trip with Nicola on a superbusy August Sunday. He took us off the crowded beaches, he showed beautiful places and made us swim in fantastic inlets. He was patient with our requests, he fed us a "light lunch" that wasn't light, and more importantly was the best simple, traditional food ever...what can I say more? highly recommended!
Also, Nicola is a very nice person. He is in love with his birdhplace, and rightly so. He is kind, talkative, generous. Grazie Nicola!

I have done several tours with Nicola and know how exacting and passionate he is for his area, so when I saw he was offering local products online to be shipped, I quickly ordered some. Excellent! The selection is great -all local Cilento and coastal producers, service is fast and easy, and shipping cost was lower than I expected given the weight and distance to the US. All told, I've now ordered 4 packages to be sent as gifts, appreciated by everyone. The wines are top notch, the cheese is scrumptious and I love the Cilento figs products -imaginative and delcious. But there's more, in the way of sauces, honey, jams and pasta. GREAT GIFTS!! All the recipients were thrilled. Grazie Nicola!

My wife and I went on the full day boat trip with Nicola out past Punta Licosa and had the most wonderful day. Due to the slightly rough seas in the area we motored to 1 spot in a beautiful bay with pristinely clear and blue waters where we moored for lunch and swimming. The food was delicious and all local, Nicola talked us through all the cuisine and local area, sharing lots of interesting information. After the right amount of time, relaxing, swimming and snorkelling we headed back to Santa Maria harbour. A great day out and we intend on going on another of his excursions when we return to the area next year. Cheers B & K

With a group of 10 friends, we were on holiday for the first time in the beautiful Cilento region of Italy.
We're very lucky to meet Nicola. He and his Masaniello Tourist company have done their best to make our vacation great. From pick-up from Naples Airport late at night to the wonderful panorama of Vesuvius just before the return flight.
Nicola organized 3 unforgettable tours for our group. Naples and the ancient town of Paestum.
Excursion to Santa Maria di Castellabate and surroundings, visiting unique Cilento places and tasting local products. An exciting boat trip around Capri Island, visiting some towns of the Amalfi Coast.
Everything was organized accurately, smoothly and according to our group needs. Everyone was impressed by Nicola's sincerity, hospitality and attitude not as customers but as his personal guests. We said goodbye like old friends–with best wishes and even songs.
We look forward to visit the wonderful Cilento region once again. And be sure to order local Cilento products from Nicola's e-shop.

We have taken two tours (so far) with Nicola. Nicola is surprisingly personal and energetic, very interested in your experience. It is easy to warm up to him and you feel like an old friend by the end of the day. We did the food tour, which included a visit to a buffalo farm, the Pasteum ruins, a lovely winery and a fig farm (we were quite full by the end of the ride).
Our second day was on the boat. A relaxing day of swimming, eating and drinking.
I recommend both of these activities. Before we leave Castellabate we may try some of the other experiences Nicola offers.

Lovely day out in the quaint and very clean boat. Prepaid on the website.
When Nicola said at the start that it was our day and that he would facilitate, he really meant it. We enjoyed quiet bay for swimming and snorkeling, and enjoyed the best food - and learned a new phrase: Scarpetti. He was liberal with food and drinks and all in all one of the best days of the holiday.

I booked this boat tour for my husband’s surprise birthday, what can I say, it was amazing! Nicola was incredibly friendly and provided an extremely insightful but relaxed boat tour. It was so much fun and one of the best days of the holiday. We loved being able to dive off the boat and swim in the sea whenever we wanted. The lunch was fantastic, his wife Sonia is a very good cook. I was very touched that she even provided gluten free dishes for me. The best bit of the tours was when Nicola organised a surprise birthday cake for my husband! Thank you so much and keep doing what you love! Katie

This August, myself and 11 family members/friends traveled to the Cilento Coast. We received recommendations from past travelers that Masaniello Tours and Nicola are a must and they were right! The excursions we booked were nothing short of amazing! Nicola was amazing and helped coordinate our plans before and during our trip. He set up two amazing boat trips to Capri and the Amalfi Coast. He made himself available for rides, reservations, and any questions that we had! Our favorite activity was the cooking class. Nicola and his mother created the most amazing experience for my family by teaching us how to cook the most delicious meal we have ever had. Nicola even surprised us during dinner with musicians who played lovely Italian music. On our last night, Nicola took us to a beautiful vineyard where we tasted amazing wine, received an informative tour, and had an authentic dinner on the premises. I can speak for all 11 of the travelers when I say booking through Masaniello Tourist is a MUST!
