What to expect
Make your own way to Doolin Pier and use your prepaid ferry tickets to head straight aboard. Set sail on the journey to Inis Oírr, the smallest of the Aran Islands, and enjoy spectacular views across Galway Bay as you cruise out across the Atlantic. On arrival in Inis Oírr, you’ll have a few hours to explore the island at your own pace. Perhaps hire a bike, join a mini-bus tour, or ride a pony trap (own expense) around the island, and take in sights such as O’Brien’s Castle, St. Kevin’s Church, the Plassey Shipwreck, and the Lighthouse. Make your way back to the pier in time for the return ferry and cruise back beneath the towering Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland’s most impressive natural wonders. As you glide beneath the 700-foot (214-meter) high cliffs and the Great Sea Stack (Branaunmore), look out for sea birds such as puffins, guillemots, and razorbills. Your tour ends back at Doolin Pier. Please note: Ferries run daily from March to October. All sailings are weather dependent so please contact us in advance should you have any queries about sailing conditions.

Ferry to the islands and cliffs of moher tour
Jul 2021 • Family
Went to inis oirr and around the cliffs of moher cruise with my husband and small child and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly. Although the weather was a bit wet the staff made the experience fun and the views around the cliffs of moher were fabulous. Would definitely recommend for a family day out.

Very happy I used this company
Jun 2021
I was delighted I chose this company. I was too late for the ferry I originally wanted. The man in the office did his best to hold the ferry for me & even offered to put a ticket on my car in the car park. (I put €5 in ticket machine which was valid until 16.15 the FOLLOWING day). The man in the office then proceeded to offer me another tour as an alternative & gave me a very good price on the tickets. We first did a ferry trip around the Cliffs of Moher, water was extremely choppy & I would not recommend to anyone that gets any way sea sick. From reading other reviews, I think some people forget that the ferry company cannot control the water! The ferry to the island was a bit better. The ferry crew make sure everyone uses hand sanitiser before boarding the ferry, something I did not see the other company doing. Mask wearing is compulsory on the ferry and rightly so. There is no social distances between seats on the ferry ( they are not legally obliged to social distance seating) so bear that in mind, you might end up sitting beside a stranger. Had an amazing day on the island. Overall I was delighted with my experience.

Nice outing.. but
Sep 2020
Enjoyed the time spent on the island, and the trip to the cliffs. Only downside was the lack of enforcement of covid guidelines... facemasks were supposed to be mandatory on the boat, but sadly this wasn't adhered to. A bit more attention to this please..

The cruise was absolutely breathtaking!!! I really enjoyed viewing all the physical geographical features on Inis Oir and at the base of the Cliffs of Moher. The crew were very nice and so informative. Sincere thanks to Joan in the Ferry office for being so helpful with our planning and Aoife for all her help, assistance and friendliness on board the Ferry.

Good cruise and cliff views even on a rainy day
Sep 2019
We booked this particular cruise package because we wanted to visit the nearest island to Doolin and see the Cliffs of Moher from the water side. It was a windy and rainy day with pretty big swells on the water. Their newest boat, however, handled it fine. It only took about 20 minutes to reach the island. We booked the early boat back to see the cliffs so we had about two and a half hours on the island and that was plenty to see most everything and eat lunch. The cliffs were spectacular to see from the water. I can highly recommend this. If you are prone to motion sickness, make sure to take a pill prior to your day on the water.

Would definitely recommend this trip
Aug 2019 • Family
We did the Inis Oirr and Cliffs of Moher trip. It was really great and I would definitely recommend it. Everyone was so friendly and we couldn’t have asked for better service. We were running a bit late as we got caught in traffic and when we phoned the company to say we would be about 5 mins late they couldn’t have been more helpful. They waited for us to arrive and were so nice telling us to take our time as we raced for the boat. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and we will definitely be making a return trip in the future.

Inis Oirr and Cliffs of Moher Cruise Highlight of our Ireland Adventure
Jul 2019
My husband and I traveled Ireland on a 15 day adventure this past July. One of the highlights of our trip was taking the Inis Oirr and Cliffs 0f Moher tour from Doolin. Arriving in Doolin, parking was ample and close. It was easy to spot the check in area, with friendly staff greeting us as we walked toward the water. The ferry trip out to the island was magical, with calm waters and a nice breeze. Our time on the island included a horse drawn carriage ride (20eu), lunch in an age old tavern, exploration of a shipwreck, short hike to c=the castle ruins, and through farmlands, and relaxation on the pristine beach. We even found some Aran Island fudge. Departing the island, we traveled to the base of the Cliffs, which was awe inspiring. The ferry slows for ample photograph opportunities as well as commentary about what we were seeing. This is not to be missed! One of our highlights that we will remember forever! Thank You!

Boats, islands, and cliffs
Jul 2019 • Friends
The staff in the parking lot and in the check-in booth and on the ship were incredibly helpful with getting the parking slips from the machines, and with switching our online reservation for an actual ticket and getting to the boat and then to and from the island, and then riding out to see the Cliffs after the boat docked for people who hadn't included the cliffs trip. A really nice day-trip!
