Blue Mountains Day Trip Including Parramatta River Cruise

Explore the Blue Mountains, see ancient rock formations, get a taste of small-town country life and cruise down the Parramatta River on this full-day tour form Sydney. Designed for visitors who want to get out of Sydney and see a slice of life in the Blue Mountains. Keep your camera handy for many scenic photo ops and learn about Aboriginal history from your guide.

What to Expect

The day starts with a pick-up from your hotel. Then begin the journey to the Blue Mountains. Stop at Kings Tableland or Evans Lookout for photo-worthy views of the Blue Mountains.

From here, take an easy bushwalk to Wentworth Falls for more views, before stopping in the small country town of Leura where you have time to explore on your own and choose from a great variety of restaurants and cafes for lunch (own expense).

Then it’s on to Katoomba, the heart of the Blue Mountains, where you see the Three Sister’s rock formation and learn some Aboriginal folklore about the site.

You can then explore Scenic World a popular attraction with cable cars, a skyway, the ‘world’s steepest railway’, and other activities at an additional cost

Then avoid traffic and take a river cruise along the Parramatta, which leads you back to the Sydney Harbour where your tour ends.
