Overview
The colossal size of Ayers Rock (Uluru) means its difficult to see the monolith from different perspectives, unless you’ve got a few days to spare. Cover more ground in less time on a Segway tour of Ayers Rock (Uluru), a smooth and speedy way to explore the surrounding area. Plus, visiting at sunrise means you’ll see the vivid-red rock at its most magical and beat the midday crowds.
What to Expect

Your day trip begins with hotel pickup from your campsite or resort in the vicinity of Ayers Rock (Uluru). After being transferred to the Segway area, you’ll receive a comprehensive safety briefing and embark on a practice ride to ensure you feel confident.

First, you’ll watch the sunrise from the base of Uluru while enjoying a light breakfast accompanied by tea and coffee. Then, you’ll set off on a journey around the entire base of the rock, stopping at Mutitjulu Waterhole to learn about Aboriginal culture and local flora and fauna.

After a 6-mile (10-km) loop of Ayers Rock (Uluru), you’ll return to the base and relax during the journey back to your hotel or camping site.
