Absolutely loved this tour! Daniel was a brilliant guide, very informative. I was a little hesitant as I've never ridden a Segway before but it was super easy. They give you some really good instructions to start with and there is a little practise track before you head off. The base of Uluru is over 10km so it's a much more time effective and fun way to go around the base of it. You stop along the way for the guide to tell you different stories and facts about the cultural, spiritual and significance of the site. The guides are accredited so you know that the information you are getting is correct. I highly recommend this tour!

Hi Sandie, Thanks for the wonderful review. It is great to hear how much fun you had on tour with Daniel. We agree, he is a top guide - so much knowledge and passion and a great Segway riding instructor. It's so nice to read of the confidence you gained from your Segway training session and how you enjoyed learning about Uluru and the cultural significant this amazing icon has to Anangu. We hope the rest of your time in the Red Centre was just as great. Cheers, From all of us at Uluru Segway Tours.

Wonderful experience, the only think I don’t think people realise is how much knowledge you will get from this tour! I thought it was going to be more about the Segway but oh no no no it’s an actual education lesson but more fun.. thanks 😊

We loved our fun and informative Segway tour around Uluru. Without it I am sure it would have been a bit of a chore dragging out tween daughter around the 12kms! If you get the chance book a tour ..superfun and very easy to ride!

Great way to see around the rock with a bit of Aboriginal history and fun combined. My only negative is that it is a little overpriced.

A visit to the Ayers Rock Resort at Yulara, and to Uluru, is not complete without participating in the Uluru Segway Tour around the base of this magnificent monolith.

This experience, our first time ever, was truly rewarding, entertaining and informative. The experience starts with a light breakfast at the “base camp” followed by a training session. The thought of operating a machine, that does not look as if it would remain upright, is a little daunting. However the team took each individual, showed us the ropes, built our confidence and got us up and running pretty quickly. By the way age is not a barrier ...... for us, veterans of travel, it was certainly a real “buzz”.

Bree (ably assisted by Thomas and the whole team) set a standard for quality and professionalism in tourism out here in the Red Centre. Everything was covered to ensure a safe, enjoyable and informative experience ..... and great value! Highly recommend that you include this sunrise experience in your travel itinerary.

Bree ensured that we were informed about the history of the “Rock”, the relevance to the indigenous culture and the stories around Uluru’s shapes, indentations and contours. Bree would stop every now and again to give us a break from the Segway and to inform! She is a top Guide!

Just do it ......... around five hours and the time just flies by!!!

Great tour. Could not recommend it highly enough. So well organised, with friendly, patient, helpful staff. Best way I believe to see around the whole of Uluru. Leisurely pace, stopped frequently for photos, and information about the rock from the guide. Do yourself and favour and book it in!!

A unique way to see around the entire base of Uluru with an experienced guide who discusses the significance of Uluru and the history. This is a very unique and interesting place to visit. The segway lessons prior to jumping on were simple and to ride a segway is really quite easy.

What an amazing day! Our first Segway adventure! Bree our guide, was enthusiastic. Kyle helped get us trained. We could not have been happier with the fun time and up close personal tour at the base of Uluru. The only thing would have been less flies! Haha! We look a little geeky with our fly nets on! It is a tour we will not forget!!

Hi SLR, Thank you for your feedback. We will not forget you too. I am so glad Bree and Kyle was looking after you. Yes, we encourage all customers to bring their own fly nets and water bottle. If not, we sell them at our training area. Once again, thank you for joining our Segway Tour. Kind regards, Thomas Uluru Segway Tours.
