The train up is a slow relaxing trip with glorious views and excellent historical commentary. The views from the lookouts are stunning.

The trip shows the beautiful landscape and stops at all the great photo spots! The staff are very friendly and came around and asked if we wanted photo taken and moved people so everyone gets window seats.

I would book in advance and use a tour operator so you get transport from the town to the sky rail station and return from the station if you check out the Viator web site they have a number of options
