The Great Barrier Reef is one of the best places on earth for snorkeling and scuba diving. This tour offers options for all ages and abilities, making it ideal for groups or families who don’t want to all do the same thing. Cruise out to the Outer Reefs, where you can choose to snorkel, take an introductory scuba dive, or enjoy up to three certified dives.
What to Expect
Make your way to the marina in Cairns to meet your guide and board the high-speed custom-built boat. Admire the views from deck and enjoy morning tea as you sail across the Coral Sea to explore the more remote Outer Reefs.

During the tour, visit three different dive sites, where you can swim and snorkel amid the vibrant coral gardens, try an introductory scuba dive accompanied by an expert instructor, or explore some of the deeper dive spots (certified divers only), depending on the tour option selected.

Along the way, look out for tropical fish, marine life, and colorful coral formations, and learn more about the Great Barrier Reef, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and its unique ecosystems from the crew. In between, relax on deck and take in the scenery as you tuck into a delicious buffet lunch.

Afternoon tea is also served on board as you sail back to Cairns.

Great tour operators with nice service

The snorkeling team and the dive instructors are very professional. Boat is quite clean, and the toilet is well maintained. Boat captain took us to far away reefs and the snorkeling instructor took time to explain different fishes to us.
