Whitsundays Segway Sunset and Boardwalk Tour with Dinner
From US$80.44
Explore the Whitsunday Bicentennial Boardwalk on a Segway, allowing you to cover much more ground than you would on a traditional walking tour. With all instruction and safety equipment included, you can master the operation of the electric, 2-wheeled, self-balancing scooter and follow your guide from Airlie Beach to Cannonvale. Wrap up the tour with a stop for some tapas while watching the sun set over the Whitsunday Islands.
What to Expect
After hotel pickup, make your way to Airlie Beach, where you get acquainted with your Segway during an extensive training session. Slip on your safety gear and do a couple of laps around the area before setting off along the Whitsunday Bicentennial Boardwalk. Focus on the scenery while your guide provides navigation, directions, and commentary.

Take in views of Pioneer Bay, Abell Point Marina, the Whitsunday Botanic Gardens, and Shingley Beach. The 5-mile (8-kilometer) trip feels like a breeze, as you cover much more ground than you would while walking. At the end of the tour, head for a Cannonvale tapas bar for a variety of Spanish snacks while watching the sun set. Choose to end your tour there by staying for dinner (own expense) or following your guide back to Airlie Beach for hotel drop-off.
