Overview
Explore River Derwent and Peppermint Bay on this half-day cruise from Hobart. Listen to your captain and guide for in-depth information about the area and its animal inhabitants, such as dolphins that often swim alongside the boat. Cruise through the D’Entrecasteaux Channel to end up at the Peppermint Bay Hotel, where you will stop for an included waterside lunch.
What to Expect
Arrive at the Brooke Street Pier for your cruise's departure; step on board, find a comfortable seat, and enjoy the scenery while the captain takes care of the navigation. This cruise allows you to travel to Peppermint Bay via the pleasant water route and relax along the way.

Travel down to the River Derwent and through the D’Entrecasteaux Channel, where dolphins will often accompany the boat. Listen to your guide's commentary about the area's culture, history, and environment to learn much more than you would on your own.

When you arrive in Peppermint Bay, disembark at the Peppermint Bay Hotel for a lunch made from locally sourced produce. Take a stroll around Woodbridge and enjoy views across the D’Entrecasteaux Channel to Bruny Island before returning to Hobart in the pleasant, relaxing way you came.
