        A Highlight of our Trip
We recently booked the Phillip Island tour as part of our recent holiday in Australia, and would definitely recommend the outing. Our tour guide Travis was the perfect host, and his passion for animals and pride in Australia contributed to an overall excellent experience. With respect to the Phillip Island penguin parade, I recommend splurging and going for the underground viewing experience. Definitely worth the money.

Fred the amazing friend from Oceania
Amazing tour operator with the kindest and most helpful friend/driver/guide anywhere in the world in Fred Garcarczyk. We have traveled around 45 countries worldwide thus far. but have never come across a better, kinder friend and guide than Fred anywhere. He went out of his way to help us feel comfortable, and made sure to keep us engaged throughout the journey lasting nearly 12 hours. We hopefully wish to meet amazing people like Fred again during our travels around the world, though that remains doubtful with so much more that we can possibly travel. We wish him, the company and its staff all the best forever for it must be an amazing company to hire such amazing people. God bless you all.

Fab tour in a beautiful city!
FRED is a super-star! His enthusiasm and passion for his city is on another level. He gave such a great insight into Melbourne on top of suggesting other things to do and see whilst visiting. By the way Fred, make sure our meeting makes it into your book!

        Amazing!
The tour was so fun. We had an amazing tour guide Travis. He was so knowledgeable and he made sure that we had the best experience. He gave amazing advice what to do in Melbourne the next day. In the Moonlit Sanctuary we saw so many animals. The koalas were stunning and I hade the chance to see a womat for the first time in my life. The coast line we went to see was breathtaking. Will deffenity go back. The penguin parade was a once in a life time experinence. Everyone has to see this sight at least once in their life. I recommend to do this tour, you get to see a lot and the experince is so much better because it's a small group.

        Highly recommended
The tour takes you to the amazing and quiet Moonlit Sanctuary, where you can feed wallabies and see koalas, kangaroos, Tasmanian devils, dingos, emus, local birds, etc. Then you get to see spectacular views of the coast and finally the penguin parade, which is incredible but true. The guide Travis is super knowledgeable, kind, and knows a lot about nature and animals. Highly recommended tour and guide.

        Magical fairy penquins!!
Small tour of 11. Bus driver/guide was great; humorous, informative. We stopped at a seaside town for dinner (not included in price of tour) - fun to stroll streets and go down to beach to watch birds (parrots). Stopover by sea to watch sea lions along rugged coast with crashing waves. Then off to highlight watching fairy penquins waddle up the beach to their night homes. We also saw enroute anteater and many wallabies. Magical 5 hours. Perfect time of day 5 pm - 11 pm. Returned home around midnight.

Great experience with Travis our guide and driver and a great group of travel companions
A great day out with our driver and guide Travis. Started at 2pm and finished about 11.30 pm. The journey to the Sanctuary was filled with both amusing and informative knowledge of what we were passing on route and what we were about to encounter. The sanctuary was very relaxed but allowed us to get up close and feed the wallabies and kangaroo's and watch the koalas. The penguin parade was amazing seeing hundreds of little penguins arriving all at once on the beach and walking past us up to the nest. Recommend the deluxe ticket as most of the penguins walk by you there. Got to see sunset at nobbies and eat fish and chips before the parade. Highly recommend this tour, especially if Travis is your guide

Make Sure They Have You Booked for the Second Half of the Tour
We got picked up for our morning tour of the city, and it was a perfectly fine tour, and part of why I am giving any "stars". We got dropped off at the Skydeck where we were told we would get picked up at 2 for the second half of our tour. We were at the meeting point before 2. An Oceania Tours driver came by, picked up one person, and told us that another bus would be coming for us, that the traffic was really bad so they were all running behind. We waited until 3 before I called to see where our bus might be. We were told that we weren't booked for a tour that day. I said, "that is ridiculous, because your bus dropped me off here 3 hours ago, so I am absolutely on a tour today". The further they looked into it, they realized their "system" hadn't added us to the second half of the tour. They asked if we wanted to get an Uber to the Sanctuary, which we would have likely missed most of, and which was part of what I was looking forward to the most. Or we could re-book the second half the next day, which didn't work because we had a full schedule. Or they offered us a full refund. We took the refund, and it came through pretty quickly, so they did make us whole. However, I really wanted to do the full tour. I was upset that we were forgotten and that we wasted 3 hours, most of which was spent in the heat. This was our 2nd worst tour experience through our entire 3 week trip to New Zealand and Australia. I hesitated to write this review, but I probably would have still booked this tour, and just asked the first driver to call the company to make sure we were on the second half if I had known that was a regular issue. So, by all means, book this tour, but know that you could run into this issue and just plan ahead and ask if you are definitely listed on the second half of the tour. It sounded like it had happened to another couple the day before, and the person who handled my phone call said it was a known issue, so the company should really work to get that problem solved, so their customers don't have to do the extra work of verifying what should already be known, especially if they are mid-tour.

Wonderful tour to Philip Island and watching the Penguins come ashore.
This was a great tour with our excellent and very knowledgeable guide and driver Travis. He went out of his way to make sure we saw everything and had the best experience possible. After visiting the Moonlit Sanctuary and getting close up to Koala bears and Wallaby's we visited Woolamai Surf Beach and had a short stroll on the boardwalk at Nobbies. After dinner at the Penguin viewing location (at our own expense) we walked down to the viewing platform and as darkness fell we watched the amazing scene of at least a thousand penguins arriving from the sea and walking onto the beach before heading off to their burrows. Again a big thank you to Travis for getting us back to Melbourne afterwards quickly and providing further information on the way. We would highly recommend this tour.

        Great experience with Travis.
Great trip with Travis who was very informative throughout the trip. Visit to moonlit sanctuary gets you close up with Kangaroos, wallabies, koala. Then onto coffee shop for delicious coffee and cake. Cowes for dinner, then onto the main event watching the penguin parade. Throughout the journey Travis regularly pointed out wildlife and we were lucky to see several wedge tailed eagles. Highly recommend this tour.

Truly great full day trip with our tour guide Toby. While it’s a drive to get to Great Ocean Road and the main attraction of the Twelve Apostles, the itinerary was well designed with worthwhile sights and stops along the way. The Great Ocean Road is a spectacular drive, with stunning views. The tour had variety and was well paced. I like how this tour only accommodates up to 11 people (we were six in total on our trip, which was really nice). Toby was an engaging guide and great driver.

We had the pleasure of touring the Great Ocean Road with Fred. Although the weather wasn’t the best, Fred made our day very enjoyable with his interesting stories and experiences. Fred knows the route and all the best viewing spots. He was able to find kangaroos in the bush as well as koalas in the trees. We look forward to our trip to Phillips Island today with Fred. We’re sure it will be equally enjoyable.

Thank you so much for your extremely positive review of our Great Ocean Road tour Leighann. Fred certainly does have a lot of interesting stories that many of his reviews refer to and he loves to keep his guests entertained from start to finish. I'm sure he is looking forward to hosting you again tomorrow.

Our tour guide Rainer gave us a wonderful tour of the Ocean Road telling us it's great history. Rainer was very helpful to answer all our questions about things we saw along the way and added a lot of commentary on the wildlife and landmarks we saw. Would highly recommend this trip to others eager to experience the great Ocean Road and learn about all about it.

This was one of the best tours I’ve had down under. Our tour guide Dandy entertained us between stops with personal stories and music from local musicians. He really went above and beyond to show us the best places and his excitement and love for Australia was contagious! Dandy helped make some really special memories for me and my family. The only bad thing is now none of the other tours we take will be as good!

Today we did a full day Ocean Road trip! The scenery was mangificent, but what made the day was our guide, Fred! He was so entertaining, knowledgeable, accommodating, went above and beyond, took us off the beaten path, saw kangaroos in the wild, where no other tour buses were! A true highlight of our trip. I highly recommend this company and ask for Fred to be your guide, you will not be disappointed!

We took the tour from Melbourne to the 12 Apostles and had a thourghly good day out. We saw great scenary, wild koalas and kangaroos along the way. Our driver/guide (Jeff) was great fun and very insightful from start to finish. It is a full, long day. Highlight for me was the walk in the temperate rain forest with toweing Mountain Ash snd Tree Ferns.

I just finished this tour which was amazing! Tour Guide Sam’s commentary was informative and often witty. Guide-in-training Stephanie offered useful information and was happy to answer questions. I highly recommend this tour, as long as it is (approx 12hrs) as you’ll see some unforgettable sights such as The Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, as well as the chance to see many native animals and birds along the way.

The best part of this trip was saving a koala from the middle of the road, the Apostles, and our guide Fred. He was not only knowledgeable of every aspect, his light-hearted humor kept this group interested non-stop! Of course, the scenery and animals can't be beat but I would definitely recommend doing it with Fred. It was truly a magical day!!

I did this tour on December 24, 2023, and we were fortunate enough to have Dandy as our guide and driver. We followed the Great Ocean Road, stopping at various points of interest. Dandy gave me a restaurant recommendation where I enjoyed a calamari watermelon salad for lunch (delicious!). In the afternoon, Dandy found several koala, including one with a large Joey, and a mob of kangaroos. This was followed by a magical bush walk in an old growth forest, and stops at the Twelve Apostles and the Loch Ard Gorge. Dandy was a wealth of information on the sites we visited, and the best places to view animals and birds. It was a delightful and magical day. Thank you!

This Great Ocean Road Day Trip was even better than we imagined mostly due to our amazing guide: Dandy!! He was engaging, fun and filled with knowledge that he creatively shared at just the right moments. Dandy went out of his way to make our journey special and for us to feel special. Although there is never a guarantee to see animals in the wild, Dandy did his best and we got to see several pandas that he spotted while we were on our lunch break.
We got to revel in the rugged beauty of the GOR, watch surfers and hear stories of shipwrecks. Visiting the Great Otway National Park was a delight due to the presence of pandas. The 12 Apostles (now 8) were gorgeous with a number of lookouts to enjoy them from.
Great trip, but it is a very long day due to the distance from Melbourne. But worth it!!
