Four mature ladies biked nearly 50 k around the bays and up to the Wind Turbines. It was awesome.. The bikes were great. I would recommend the full size mountain bike for this trip

Fortunately we had one of our fellow bikers who had done a plan of where we were going. We went for miles and the amazing coastline around Wellington on a fantastic hot sunny, no wind, day was great.

We had one electric and one mountain bike, just to compare what is better for us. :) We biked around Oriental Bay, Evans Bay up to Point Halswell then through Karaka Bays to Moa Point and back to the Queens Wharf. What a beautiful ride, especially the east coast from Point
