Prague Full-Day-Trip from Vienna with Accommodation Pick-Up
From US$137.05
Overview
Take advantage of Vienna’s close proximity to Prague, the Gothic capital of the Czech Republic, on this full-day excursion from Vienna. Following a scenic 3.5 hour drive through the mountains of Bohemia, you’ll embark on a guided tour that showcases top attractions such as Charles Bridge, Prague Astronomical Clock, and Prague Old Town Square. Enjoy time at leisure to shop and explore according to recommendations from your guide, and enjoy the convenience of hotel pickup and drop-off in Vienna.
What to Expect
Your tour departs from your hotel at approximately 7am, when you’ll board an air-conditioned vehicle and settle in for the 3.5-hour journey to Prague. Along the way, you’ll pass the picturesque natural landscapes of Bohemia and Moravia, and listen to live commentary provided by your guide.
On arrival in Prague, you’ll embark on a comprehensive city tour designed to showcase the Czech capital’s major attractions. The 15th-century Charles Bridge, the broodingly Gothic St. Vitus Cathedral, and Wenceslas Square, the social and political heart of the city, are all covered.
Then, you’ll have the remainder of the day to explore independently — continue to check off top sights by visiting the Old Town Square, the National Museum, and the Prague Astronomical Clock, and enjoy Prague’s excellent shopping and eating opportunities.
Then, around 4pm, you’ll reconvene with your guide and relax during the 3-hour journey back to your Vienna accommodation.

Interesting

We were expecting a bus tour but were accommodated in the back row of a mini van, not a comfortable way for such a long journey. On reaching Prague we were taken for a one-hour walking tour to some of the sites in the city...More

Just right

Just enough group info to download some fun facts and plenty of free time to do what we wanted to do without being bored. I felt sorry for the other herds of tour groups.

Not sure of the Prague card. I think there are day tour options in Prague. Try checking on the official Prague/ Czech Republic tourist page or other sites.
