Overview
Sightseeing in Budapest can mean lots of walking and standing, especially when ticket lines are involved. Enjoy some of the city’s top sights with less effort on this Danube River evening cruise. With a welcome drink in hand, take a seat and let landmarks such as the Chain Bridge and Parliament glide past. A choice of departures and optional food-and-wine upgrade offer extra flexibility.
What to Expect
When booking, choose between two or three departures, with timings dependent on the season, and pick a cruise length.

Head to the river dock near Pest’s Szent Istvan Park to board the comfortable boat and enjoy a seasonal welcome drink or orange juice. Then, settle on the interior deck, which is heated in winter and air-conditioned in summer, or the open deck, where blankets are available. The boat also offers complimentary Wi-Fi and a bar where you can purchase drink at your own expense.

Then, admire Budapest’s UNESCO-listed Danube embankments while you cruise. Glide by the Hungarian Parliament, Buda district, and Chain Bridge, and on later evening departures, view the night-time illuminations. If you’ve upgraded, savor a Hungarian charcuterie-and-cheese platter with a glass of red wine.

Your experience finishes back at the starting dock.

Nice cruise for a budget

Enjoyed the 1 hour cruise, get there early for good seating! Simple drink was offered. No tour guide, just simple music to go along with the amazing view.

Beautiful by night

A great way to see the city. Good detail on what you could see delivered over PA not headphones, particularly good for me as a hearing aid wearer.

Budapest by night was great!

Very nice cruise. The boat was small but we got on board first so we managed to seat at a good spot and enjoy the ride.

I don't know. I know that certain trip stop there in the afternoon, not at night though. Most night trips are just floating along the river (up and down for 30 minutes each leg).

We took the 8:45 which was perfect for dusk and evening photos. There was a 10pm cruise after ours.
