Overview

This tour is perfect for first-time DC visitors who want to see it all. Walking between sights can be exhausting and often takes more time than imagined. Explore by Segway with a guide and you’ll see all the top museums and monuments and learn the lay of the land. Tour the Mall, Pennsylvania Avenue, and the Washington Monument while soaking up the city’s history.

What to Expect

Choose from a morning, afternoon, or sunset tour. Meet your guide at L’Enfant Plaza and begin your experience with a safety training to familiarize yourself with operating your Segway.

Glide around the Mall and see the Smithsonian Museums, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and other sights up-close without tiring yourself out.

The Mall and surrounding sights can look deceptively close to one another due to their size, but trying to see everything by foot can take a full day or longer. Fit more into your visit with a guided Segway tour and leave time to explore some places in more depth later.

Ride down Pennsylvania Avenue and see the Newseum, FBI Building, and National Archives. Learn DC history from your guide and stop for bottled water and snacks (included).

Be sure to wear closed-toe shoes and bring weather appropriate clothing. Participants must be at least 16 years old.

Great time!

This was a fun way to see the monuments in DC. Out guide, Chase, was great. The kids loved it! Of course, you have to go back to do the inside tours of the museums, Capital Building, etc.

Sorry, just saw this question. Riding is on the side walks. The tour guide is excellent in getting people and cars to stop while crossing a street. They give excellent I instruction before riding.
