Meet a guide outside the main gates of Arlington National Cemetery at your choice of 8am, 12pm, or 3pm. A group size capped at 15 people ensures full attention from the guide and opportunity to ask questions throughout the tour.
As you pass through green fields dotted in white tombstones, stop at the final resting places of former U.S. presidents. The guide ensures you don’t get lost in the cemetery’s 624 acres, and points out tombstones many people miss if visiting on their own.
Next, make your way to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The tour is timed so that you are able to view the incredible precision of the Changing of the Guards ceremony. Afterwards, follow the guide to the former home of General Robert E. Lee.
When the tour ends 2 hours later, pay respects in solitude, or take a walk across the Arlington Memorial Bridge back to the National Mall.
