Roatan Shore Excursion: Zip 'n' Dip Canopy Tour
From US$54.99
Overview

Explore Roatan Island on this shore excursion tour that combines zipline and beach activities. All details, including round-trip transportation, are covered. After a safety briefing, you’ll get clipped into your equipment and soar through the forest canopy on a 1.8-mile (3-kilometer) course with 15 separate ziplines. Next it’s swimming and free time at one of the area's famous beaches to cool off before a prompt return to your ship.

What to Expect

Step off your boat and into your Roatan port to meet your guide, who will lead you on this tour showcasing the island’s lush jungle and soft-sand beaches. With all transportation and navigation included, all you have to do is relax.

Make a short trip to the jungle in a climate-controlled vehicle, where you’ll meet your zipline guides and listen to a safety briefing. Get fitted for a helmet and harness, and climb one of the treetop platforms.

Over the 15 ziplines spanning 1.8 miles (3 kilometers), enjoy the breeze and take in the lush jungle scenery. Keep an eye out for local fauna. Once you finish the course, head for a nearby beach to unwind and cool off in azure waters.

Return to your cruise ship dock in time to meet your departing ship.

We all loved it. I read about others having long wait times, but we had almost no wait - during spring break 2018. All well organized and the guides were terrific. The Zuperman was also fun - only two runs, so the regular zip line...More

If you book on their site, there is a zipline only option. There was a couple that did not go to the beach with us. We still had time to shop back in town after the beach, it depends on how long you stay at the beach. Our... More

As best as I can tell they go all day in about 15 minute intervals. So you should be fine going at 3 or 4 p.m.
