Overview
Paddle out from the Maui beaches for a guided, 3.5-hour, small-group kayak and snorkeling adventure. Travel the calm, clear waters along the beautiful Olowalu coastline and enjoy spectacular views of the majestic West Maui Mountains. Then hop into the water and snorkel with endangered green sea turtles and colorful tropical fish. Basic swimming skills are required. All snorkeling gear plus refreshments and snacks are included.
What to Expect
Enjoy majestic views of the West Maui Mountains as you Kayak and Snorkel the calm clear waters of Turtle Reef at Olowalu. Known for large numbers of Giant Green Sea Turtles this water wonderland is one of Hawaii's greatest treasures. Olowalu's waters are generally calm and clear with visibility sometimes up to 120 feet.

Snorkel with Giant Green Sea Turtles! See them gathered in groups (sometimes 12 or more) at "turtle cleaning stations" allowing fish such as tangs and wrasses and to clean their shells and flippers of algae and parasites. Watch as they swim up to get cleaned like a "carwash" for turtles!! This diverse marine eco-system is home to 1000's of colorful tropical fishes, 24 species of coral and is visited by a myriad of marine life including Turtles, Manta Rays, Monk Seals, Dolphins, Whales and more!

Knowledgeable guides are dedicated to Marine Conservation and Education and provide interesting information about marine life and narration of Hawaii's history. Guides are Certified Marine Naturalists, hold American Red Cross CPR/First-Aid/Lifeguard certification and have years experience kayaking and diving Hawaiian waters.

Tour includes premium snorkel gear, life vests, bottled water and snacks.

Great Kayak/Snorkel

We had a great time on the kayak/snorkel tour. Between the whales and turtles, it couldn't have been better! It was a highlight of our vacation.
