Visit three famous temples in Bangkok on a half-day tour with your own private guide. Take in the golden wonders of Wat Pho, the Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Traimit), and the Marble Temple (Wat Benchamabophit). Your guide shows you highlights, including the Golden Buddha statue, the reclining Buddha, and Bangkok’s Chinatown. Learn about Thai Buddhism and cultural traditions from your guide, and choose from a morning or afternoon tour.
What to Expect
After morning or afternoon pickup at your centrally located Bangkok hotel, ride in an air-conditioned private vehicle to the temples.
At Wat Traimit, see the Golden Buddha, a statue that weighs 5.5 tons and is made from solid gold.
Continue to Wat Pho by walking through the bustling lanes of Bangkok’s Chinatown, a vibrant district established more than 200 years ago. See the massive reclining Buddha statue, a smiling wonder that stretches about 150 feet (46 meters). Note the intricate carvings on the feet and other beautiful touches in the temple.
Your final temple is Wat Benchamabophit, constructed of marble slabs imported from Italy. Your guide shares commentary about the site, as you walk through open-air corridors lined with Buddha statues and into lofty temple buildings with intricate decorations.
Your tour concludes at the Gems Gallery.

The temples looked impressive and the guide was nice, but her English was incomprehensible. I missed 3/4 of what she was saying. This made the guided tour rather pointless. We were basically walking around for 3h, looking at Buddha statues without learning anything.

I was disappointed at the end of this tour. Not only is there no lunch break in between the tours, but I did not enjoy it very much. I would prefer that our guide tell us ALL the info before we entered the temples, but...More
