It was a great one day experience @ Halong Bay , The Guide Mr.Victor was very Professional, He took us around the Titop Island , to the caves and then for Bamboo boat ride with no Chaos. The food on the cruise was excellent. We loved the Vegetarian food . thank you so much. All Praises tonyour company and your Guide Mr.Victor

Our guide Thao (Willy) picked us up from our hotel reception. The bus was comfortable but very small at the rear. If you're a big person maybe the rear seats are not for you. Once on board Thao explained the journey to Halong bay would be about 3 hours but we'd stop halfway. This break in the journey was very welcome. The scenery along the bay is just stunning, the staff on the boat are very attentive. The food was better than expected. The activities on offer were good but be aware when off the boat you will be part of a much larger group of tourists. Thao explained this to us beforehand so we were prepared. If climbing stairs be prepared to wait sometimes for people to start moving again. The highlight for me were the caves, wow. Thao was just perfect as a guide and smashed the flute playing during sunset. I'd recommend this day trip from Hanoi. Great work Thao.

Enjoyed the cruise and views were amazing. Didn’t realise I could spend such long hours on cruise before, till now. Luca, our guide, was really helpful and showed us great locations and made our trip comfortable.

The views were great, got to swim in the lovely waters. I love how you got to choose your own food instead of there being a set menu and our tour guide Luca was really funny, nice, and helpful throughout the entire tour.

Ha long cruise trip was nice and Luca was very polite and gave lots of information about Ha long bay.Food was ok but evening snacks were nice.

The tour is highly recommended for those who have limited time in Hanoi but would like to have a day spare for country side trip. Halong Bay has the most jaw dropping views of towering limestones. The cruise services esp buffet spread is superb, good that there were fruit snacks as well on the way back.The roofdeck cultural show is a great way to end the trip- 1st time to see the Vietnamese native instruments. Last but not the least, I’d like to say kudos to our tour guide, Kenny (w/ a K). He was very knowledgeable , the best person for the tour. He had our best interest in mind and did not fail to check on us from time to time. when we come back again, i hope he’ll be the one who’ll facilitate the tour.

Ha Long Bay cruise was an unforgettable experience, made even more special by our fantastic guide, Victor Le( Vietravel) From the breathtaking views of the bay’s iconic limestone islands to the fascinating stories Victor shared, every moment was exceptional. His deep knowledge, enthusiasm, and attention to detail truly enriched our journey. Victor ensured we were comfortable, engaged, and well-informed, making the entire trip seamless and enjoyable.

We definitely had a wonderful day in Ha Long, the cruise is fully equiped with modern amenities. Food is cooked by Vietnamese chef, but it's also delicious, served a buffet style, so even a vegetarian could choose a tasty food for theirself. I highly recommend this trip to everyone, who wanna have a day tour in Ha Long

I had great time with sonata cruise with beautiful halong bay, staff on cruise so friendly and helpful, very thankful for our tourguide very knowledgeable and professional. Recommended to any one go for holliday in halong. Thank you.

We really enjoyed the sonata cruise, the guide were excellent and managed to sort us out when we had a slight difficulty with the pick up (not their fault, just the traffic). All the activities are great and the food good. The ship has many space for us to walk around as well, would definitely recommend.

Save your money! Mass commercial tourism at its best with no care given. To say Ha Long Bay is overrated is such an understatement. The images available on the internet do the area way more justice than actually seeing it. We booked and paid for an English speaking tour, not being completely ignorant to the fact that English is a second language to all in Vietnam. We expected some disjointed conversation, however boarded the luxury bus but were told that a large Vietnamese tour had also been booked for this trip (1st red flag). Of the 18 passengers - 14 were Vietnamese. The bus ride from the Old Quarter was a 3.5hr trip with the tour guide launching into a 53 minute commentary of Hà Nội completely in Vietnamese. During the entire trip to Ha Long Bay we had a grand total of 11 minutes spoken in English, and during that time the guide excused himself to answer a phone call and wait while a Vietnamese tourist decided to walk the length of the travelling bus taking a selfie video. It seems our tour guide had no intention of accommodating those that didn’t understand Vietnamese. Don’t advertise as English speaking if you don’t intend on trying to even speak it. We were given a bottle of water on the bus but then told that because it’s plastic we couldn’t take it/drink it on the boat due to possible contamination of the waterway. News flash, have you looked at the water in Ha Long Bay, I’ve never seen so much rubbish floating on a world heritage listed area! Prior to boarding the boat we were told we would have to pay for everything in cash. Again happy to buy what we required, but of note, read the fine print. You get stung with taxes on your bill and you don’t find this out until you have to settle your account, at the end of the tour. Once we got to Ha Long Bay and boarded the boat, we were referred to as foreigners. ‘The foreigners can sit at the table at the back so they are together’ I believe was the statement. Completely insulting in a tourism business!! Again acknowledge we are foreigners but perhaps better language could have been used - considering we are guests in Vietnam. We were taken to the kayak, bamboo boat area, what a cluster. Lined up, directed onto a kayak that had a crack in it, which then proceeded to sink!! We had a few other kayak boats try to stop and assist but the bamboo boat paddlers just mowed over the top of them. Just a disaster of a tour and location. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. And to top it all off, the sunset party consisted of Vietnamese karaoke

Our guide Binh was great, knowledgeable and friendly and really went out of his way to make our experience a pleasant one.

This one-day trip to Halong Bay has left me with wonderful and unforgettable memories. Firstly, I want to express my gratitude to our guide, Mr. Ben, for his detailed explanations of the attractions and his humorous and engaging style, which made the entire journey lively and enjoyable. His professionalism and enthusiasm created a delightful atmosphere throughout the trip. Furthermore, I was impressed by the punctuality of the bus transfers and the modern facilities on board the boat. The cabins were very comfortable, and the entire fleet appeared to be very modern. The lunch served was amazing, abundant and delicious, allowing us to enjoy both the magnificent scenery and exquisite cuisine – truly a perfect day. Overall, this one-day trip to Halong Bay has left a profound impression on me. I want to thank our guide, Mr. Ben, and all the staff involved in this journey for their meticulous arrangements and service, which made this trip so wonderful. I look forward to participating in similar activities in the future to explore more awe-inspiring places.
