Extended my business trip for a day to visit the top 3 sites in this historical capital city. Mission accomplished with the great and passionate guide Zoe and driver Mr Cheung
Independent travelers will love the flexibility of this private all-inclusive day tour. Skip the crowds and avoid the lines at the top attractions near Beijing by having entrance fees organized for you. You’ll save time and travel in a private vehicle to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Great Wall of China. This is a great tour for those who want to see some of China’s top attractions.
After a morning pickup from your hotel, you’ll travel in comfort in a private vehicle to Tiananmen Square. You’ll learn about China’s history by visiting the National Museum of China and the Great Hall of the People. A must-see site is Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum, and the Forbidden City.
A delicious dumpling lunch is provided at a local restaurant, and then the next stop is the Great Wall of China. To beat the crowds, you’ll go to a typically less-crowded part of the wall called Mutianyu. Once you’re at the Great Wall, you’ll have the freedom to hike for about two hours. Don’t worry about tired legs—you can travel by cable car halfway up to start your walk. For the ride down, you can choose cable car again or the more adventurous option of riding a toboggan. The day ends with a return back to your hotel.

Without doubt one of the best private tours we have taken. Marcos, our guide was the perfect ambassador who knew his stuff, and took time to describe the history of The Great Wall, Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square which bought back China’s rich history. Lunch...More
