Bali 3-Day Kura-Kura Bus Pass
From US$10.70
Overview

Explore Bali on your own, at your own pace.  The Kura-Kura bus has five routes traversing the island, which allow you to get where you want to go, when you want to get there during the day. Download the app to have the schedules and route information on hand. The pass is activated when you scan it and gives you three days of worry-free transit throughout Bali.

What to Expect

Imagine getting on a bus with other tourists that will take you around to explore Bali. The Kura-Kura bus is a unique way to see the real Bali from the locals view. Feel like a local as this public shuttle provides exceptional service as it accompanies you to see the best of Bali and beyond. See the sights leisurely and at your own pace, which is very beneficial especially for first-time visitors. Choose a 3 or 7-day pass for the ultimate sightseeing experience. Your bus pass is activated the first time you first scan the card machine on the bus. The pass can only be used by one person at a time and only on Kura-Kura bus lines.

Choose from among the 5 lines covering Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Jimbaran, South Nusa Dua, Nusa Dua, Sanur and Ubud and tour in luxury as you enjoy a lot of perks during the journey that begins at 8:30 in the morning to 11:00 in the evening (depends on the route lines). Connect to its speedy 4G Wifi internet and continue to be connected to the rest of the world. Bask in the ambiance with the bus’ cool air conditioner. Watch and remain informed by its large LCD TV that gives you interesting information about Bali and beyond while your bus is moving. Experience Balinese warmth and hospitality as your friendly crew attends to your every need. Before traveling, be sure to confirm your chosen date as the government restricts everyone from leaving their homes during the Nyepi Day.

Days are calculated as in 24-hour increments from the time your card is first activated when scanning the card machine. For example, if you tap a 3-day pass at 3pm on January 1st, the card will be valid until 3pm on January 4th.

The bus routes to choose from include:

LINE 1:
Bus departs every 2 hours, 6 rounds per day
(Route: DFS > NUSA DUA > JIMBARAN > DFS > KUTA > LEGIAN > SUNSET ROAD > DFS)

LINE 2:
Bus departs every 2 hours, 6 rounds per day
(Route: DFS > JIMBARAN > NUSA DUA > DFS > KUTA > LEGIAN > SUNSET ROAD > DFS)

LINE 3:
Bus departs every 30 minutes, 21 rounds per day
(Route: DFS > KUTA > LEGIAN > SEMINYAK > SUNSET ROAD > DFS)

LINE 4:
Bus departs every 30 Minutes, 21 rounds per day
(Route: DFS > LEGIAN > SEMINYAK > LEGIAN > KUTA > DFS)

LINE 5:
Bus departs every 2 hours, 4 rounds per day
(Route: DFS > SANUR > UBUD > SANUR > DFS)

Great way to avoid being slugged by unreasonable taxi fares.

Bali has no public transport. A fantastic option for tourists rather than cars is the expat-owned bus service Kura-Kura that covers most of the tourist areas such as Nusa Dua, Sanur, Kuta, Legian, and Seminyak and even goes to Ubud. The little green buses are...More

Budget friendly

If you are on a budget and don’t mind spending some time travelling this works well. It is just that it takes a bit to get places and it can be a bit difficult to figure out how to catch one bus from another.More
