About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- ericaF1708WR0 contributionsGreat experienceOur tour guide Saicy and driver Wilson took good care of us. We had a great time. Tumalog Falls, whale shark and the sardines run were really an experience. Pescador Island was disappointing but overall it was a great day trip.Written 24 January 2025
- 38ikep0 contributionsThey gave us everything that we wanted.Everything went exactly how it listed on the listing. The drive was long but definitely worth doing! Both our driver and tour guide were very nice.Written 22 January 2025
- H7630PDtylerm0 contributionsAmazing experience with some great companyThis tour was incredible! So much packed into one day. We had the amazing Saicy as our tour guide and Angelo as our driver, and they were so friendly and helpful. We especially loved the whale shark portion, as well as the sea turtles and sardine runs later in the day in moalboal. For the price, we definitely got our moneys worth. Highly recommend, thank you Saicy and Angelo!!Written 14 January 2025
- Erma R0 contributionsLove Cebu city tours professionalismOur driver Dino and tour guide Edith from Cebu city tours were excellent. They took us back and forth the long drive from Cebu to oslob very safely. Edith secured our belongings and didn’t have to worry about anything but to enjoy the activities. We surely had an excellent time and made lots of memories. The whale sharks and the scoop of sardines and island hopping experience was worth the money. It was so much fun!Written 9 January 2025
- Frankie H0 contributionsSnorkeling with whale sharksSeeing the whale sharks up close was incredible! They are such majestic and graceful creatures! A lot of people were there but I still felt the whole experience was respectful to the animals, and the whale sharks did not appear distressed in any way. Tumalog falls were incredible!! Could have stayed there all day!Written 7 January 2025
- linsingc0 contributionsNOT a Tour. Two steps above a scam. How this package managed to be listed as featured on Trip Advisor is beyond me. This is NOT a tour. It would be accurate to describe this as a self-service day trip with a driver; the company will just charge you (in my case as a solo traveler) 2.5 times the cost of actually hiring the driver, add the word "tour", and pocket the difference. It is two steps above a scam. You will be given no context on where you are going and why it significant, unless you do self-service research beforehand, because when you're dropped off at each site there is no tour guides there, either, and most of the sites do not have any preamble describing why they matter. I don't know about you, but I come to Trip Advisor specifically when I do not know the place and want a tour to give me context. If I wanted a private driver to go to a list of places that I have to do research on myself, I would just find that on my own. This package does not belong on Trip Advisor, as it actively subverts what you'd expect out of a tour package listed here. At the minimum, the with-tour-guide option should be the default, not an extra hidden option that you only discover after it's too late to make any changes. My money is already spent (wasted) on this package, but you, my friend, can save yours by skipping on this.Written 30 December 2024
- AndrewDM1122990 contributionsFantastic tour with great tour operator! Our tour was fantastic from start to finish. It covered all of the sites we wanted to see on Cebu. Our driver Melchor was friendly and knowledgeable, and our tour guide Noel in Oslob & Sumilon was very helpful and flexible. We added a scuba dive at the Moalboal tuna run which was fantastic. I highly recommend this company.Written 29 December 2024
- Q9629IAdanielg0 contributionsWhale sharks, sardines, and sea turtlesLong day from Lapu-Lapu with pick up at 3:30 am and drop off at 8 pm. Titing did an amazing job driving and was very friendly and accommodating. Ellen did a great job coordinating for the whale sharks, breakfast, and lunch in Oslob and even added a side tour to Tumalog Falls since we had a bit of a wait for the whale sharks. Falls were beautiful. Whale sharks were amazing. Probably over 10 whale sharks up close and great pictures with the GoPro we used from Cebu Tours. Follow on trip to Pescador was good. First stop at sardine run was interesting with the big school of sardines. We also saw 2 turtles there. Next stop was at Pescador island coral reef. Not the best reef but still a good amount of fish to see. Overall great trip and Cebu Tours did a wonderful job corresponding promptly throughout the process.Written 26 December 2024
- jadiesmithx0 contributionsExceptional customer serviceSo I don’t usually write reviews but the experience and customer service we received was exceptional. We are currently on our honeymoon and have travelled with our toddler who is 1 year and 11 months. The tour itself was stunning and an unforgettable experience, everything flowed smoothly and taken care of and all we had to do was have fun and make memories. However, it was our driver & tour guides who made this tour a truly unforgettable experience. Our driver Abam was so polite, respectful, and truly kind hearted, we thank you for his efforts. Our tour guide in Oslob was Saicy (apologies if I spelt this wrong) and she went above and beyond for us and we are truly grateful. She looked after our little boy for us so we could enjoy the whale shark diving together (something we thought we couldn’t do due to our toddler) so we are truly grateful for this. Our tour guide in Kawasan falls was so friendly, kind and helpful, apologies I forgot his name! But he took the most stunning photos of us as a family at the falls which happen to be one of my favourites of all time. These 3 people made our trip unforgettable and you are a real asset to the Cebu Tours team. I already cannot wait to come back to book another tour! I will be recommending this company to anyone who looks to book a tour!Written 26 December 2024
- Tino_A_19750 contributionsVery good, but can be improvedThe day trip was enjoyable overall, but there are areas that could be enhanced. Firstly, the itinerary overlooked informing us about the church's dress code, which unfortunately led to us missing the visit. Providing this information beforehand would have been beneficial for our preparedness. Secondly, despite pre-booking a vegetarian meal for my wife, we encountered difficulty in locating a restaurant that catered to this dietary preference. It was evident that the guide was not adequately prepared for this. Despite these shortcomings, the trip was pleasant, and we would recommend it. With minor adjustments, this experience could be flawless.Written 26 December 2024
- kimfQ3166CZ0 contributionsSwim with gentle sea king!I went on a solo trip on last year 2023! I had a memorable trip with trek professional team to accommodate me very well throughout my whole journey. i was guided from the beginning from whale shark point and kawasan falls, at the same time the photography was top excellent! Highly recommend! No questions!Written 25 December 2024

- d0ming0y0 contributionsUnforgettable tour!Excellent tour. As a couple, we were privately from Cebu City to the south. Swim with the sharks has been one of my best life experiences. We really loved the shining tiny island in front of the shark and the huge Tumalog falls. Simar, the driver arrived on time and gave us an pleasant trip go and back. Diane the tour guide showed us everything and she was full time offered to help us and give us few tips about the island. 101% recommend.Written 18 December 2024

- scottn9490 contributionsRaw & AwesomeNo gimmicks, just straight fun to perhaps the best underwater snorkeling visuals I have ever seen, who knew snorkeling in the Philippines was do good, I didn't. First off, my driver/guide was Simar, a great guy. Took me to the boat, three people working the boat took me to the first island, handed me my mask/snorkeling and I jumped in. Wow, the most fish ever surrounded me including big green beautiful Parrotfish. Snorkeling at the second island was just a wonderful. The third island is white sandy beach and relax before lunch. It was a great day. This tour is not fancy, the boat is not modern, in fact a piece of the bamboo support came loose during a wavy ride back but all was good, just seemed all like the Philippino way; raw but fun.Written 12 December 2024

In what was nothing short of an adventure, Thank you to Cebu tours and, most importantly, our tour guide, Allan, for a fantastic day in Bohol.
Bohol is such a beautiful island, and we are so happy that we got to experience it as we almost canceled the tour entirely due to a schedule change. Allan was waiting for us at the pier and took us to grab breakfast before embarking on our adventure. He shared with us so much about Filipino culture and his life in Bohol. We saw the chocolate hills, Tarsier sanctuary, Ziplined, and Lunch on the river. Due to the holidays, we got to see local groups perform and sing Christmas songs and cultural dances (if they offer for you to participate, do it!)
Unfortunately, my wife and I were in the Philippines during Typhoon Ursula and were stuck in Bohol, along with many other tourists and locals. We had left our luggage and IDs in Cebu as it was only supposed to be a day trip but were in Bohol for two days before getting to leave. Despite learning this information, Allan went out of his way to speak to the boat company and get us new tickets for the next day (despite trips being canceled until Christmas day). Allan continued to maintain communication with us and made sure we made it back to Cebu safely.
Overall, I can't stress how much we loved this tour and the opportunity to visit Bohol, if we return to the Philippines we plan on making a trip directly to Bohol!
Thank you Cebu Tours!

Very nice driver that picked us up on time, drove us to the boat to Bohol. However, when we got to Bohol (after almost 5 hours of traveling), we found out that the trip does not include a guide and that the driver did not speak English very well. He was nice and took us to all the sites, but when we call the agency they just said: "it is what it is." We were offered a guide with additional pay to join mid-day. We were very upset, but agreed to do the sites by ourselves (we had no other choice).
Choice a different company for this tour.

Hi Tal, thank you for your feedback, we are sorry but when we reviewed the inclusions of the package there is no DOT accredited tour guide added. It was only the driver who will guide you to the sites.
Some guests will request one and we will add it and they will be paying for it. DOT accredited tour guides cost P1000 to P2000 for 8 hours tour depending on the number of participants. They are the ones that are trained from the Tourism Department.
We are very sorry for miscommunication. Thank you.

We stayed in Cebu for 4 nights to relax after a hectic tour of Okinawa with the intention of just relaxing at our resort but decided to do this trip to Bohol on our last full day.
It was an early start (Collected from our resort at 4.30am) for the drive to the port where we caught the 6am ferry to Bohol (2 hr).
We were collected in a private car by our driver/guide, Eric who took us to all of the listed attractions plus an additional stop at a place with butterflies and snakes.
Eric was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information on Philippines history, especially Bohol.
We were returned to the Port in time to catch the 4.20pm ferry back to Cebu where we were again met by the driver for our return to our resort.
The Chocolate Hills, optional ATV tour, Tarsiers, lunch on the floating restaurant with local tribal dancing and butterfly/snake attraction were all well worth seeing and although it was a long day, it was thoroughly enjoyable and I’d highly recommended.

A company's comedy of errors but not so amusing at all ! A month before, I reserved and paid for 3 people in our group. A few days later, I notified them that I want to add a 4th person and was told that I can pay for the 4th person on day of tour. Due to a medical emergency, the 4th person was not able to come and 4 days before the tour I notified Cebu Tours to cancel the 4th person. This cancellation was confirmed by the office. Unbeknown to me, she sent a message asking about the 4th person's name which I did not see right away as I was on other day tours. The day before the actual tour day, I received a message that because I did not provide the 4th person's name within 48 hrs. of the tour, I should pay the full Tour fees of 3,500 pesos for that person and I was asked to pay the driver upon pick up ! REALLY !!!
First of all, I cancelled the 4th person on a timely basis ( 4 days prior). Secondly, if the information re: 4th person was so urgently important to charge me the extra , they could have texted me ( I had provided them with both my local cell # and international cell #, Hotel info. etc.).
Then, the driver was an hour late to pick us up at our hotel without notification or phone call from the driver or the company. We were ready by 5:00 a.m. but were picked up at 6:00 am and therefore ,missed our scheduled ferry boat for Bohol and arrived late. When we got to the Bohol ferry dock, we were met by a courteous but sort of nervous driver who was not really scheduled to pick us up and then told us that we may miss a few stops of the tour itinerary because we arrived late ( not our fault ,of course). It didn't appear then that we would join any tour group or bigger tour van. We had a driver but not a tour guide !
The final straw of our horrible day was when the driver told our group of 3 that the company did not give him the money to pay for our Lomboc cruise lunch (part of the tour package we pre-paid for ) and can we please pay the cost ourselves ? Now, that definitely was not acceptable!!!
We missed the Python place and another Church in the schedule. Even though we drove up to the Chocolate Hills, we didn't see anything because of the foggy weather. The curse of being late ??
I cannot believe that a Tour company in a major tourist area can be unprofessional and unorganized. Needless to say, I was very upset and the circumstances had really ruined my day early on.
I would not recommend this tour company at all for any future reference. The only reason I gave 1 star is because our Bohol driver was nice enough and really, the fiasco was not his fault.

Hi, we are sorry for what happen on that day! We believe that we did not collect the P3500 from you for the cancelled person. Let us know if you did not get a refund for what you paid for so we can review the person or the driver in charge on that day!
Also the package specified that it's a private tour and not shared tours with others and you will have your own car and driver. DOT accredited tour guide was also included which is just optional if you request one. We are sorry for the misunderstanding.
Thank you

Don't waste your money for this tour. The organisation (hotel pick-up & ferry transfer) and our guide was the only positiv thing.
There are different stations during the tour, but the 'chocolate hills' was the only interessting one. The other stations are locked up animals or statues.
The boat trip with lunch was ok, but nothing for vegetarian people.
We ended the tour at 1.30 pm and get an earlier ferry back (costed extra money).
All togehter not worth the money. Maybe with half of the price it would be worthy.

Hi, we are very sorry about your experience with this tour.
As I can see in your review, everything was ok from pick service, guide, and tourist sites (which was specified on the itinerary) except for the price and the vegetarian food on the floating restaurant, it was a buffet lunch by the way, and veges are available too.
Please understand that the ferry tickets to Bohol from Cebu made this price so more expensive cuz it will cost you Php 1600 round trip (OceanJet). Even if you DIY to Bohol from Cebu, that would be the same price. We did not mark up the ticket price and you can see that in the ticket that we gave you. Yes, rebooking the ticket to an earlier time will cost another P50 pesos.
Again, we are very sorry about your experience.

Trip was nice, cool destinations and things to see. But for 300usd i would expect the quide to speak better english. It was a struggle to understand him at times. Also on initiary there was 2 churches and a monument. Other church we actually went to was still closed, opened bit later on so we saw it only from outside. Other we didnt go at all and monument we didnt see. We didnt do any extras (atv or so) and we were done at ~1400. Guide asked if we want to reschedule to earlier boat, we agreed and just before we were at the harbor he told that we had to pay 100 pesos for it to ferry company.
All things considered not worth 300usd for 2 persons.

Hi, we are sorry about your experience. This package incudes trip to Chocolate hills which is very far from tagbilaran port and you have to use private car for your group. This also includes round trip tourist class ticket to Bohol from Cebu. In addition, this includes buffet lunch at Loboc river cruise. We are very sorry about your experience on this.

A long trip requiring early start and some endurance. Chocolate Hills is amazing ambience with great views. It would be nice it potential add-on's like cycling on a zipline above the ground would be mentioned up-front in the tour details including prices even as optional to plan ahead. Another option is ATV ride. Lunch on the river is also great experience with dance show. For most other spots visited sometimes the church was closed, or the spot requires only 5 minutes to look around. Some more insight even as pre-printed text would be nice to enjoy all spots more.

This was a lovely day to explore Bohol. We were collected by our driver and taken to the port to take a ferry to Bohol and then collected at the other side by the excellent Jerwin. He took us to the picturesque chocolate hills and the tarsiers and to the Loboc river lunch cruise. Jerwin made our trip - such a kind gentleman. Thank you for a wonderful day !

The only reason I am not rating this five stars is because the first activity of the day was the ATV’s and although it is very much worth the money it meant we spent the rest of the day wet and dirty (maybe our fault but make sure you bring a change of clothes).
Other than that our guide was amazing and packed in a full day of local sight seeing.
Definitely worth the money so don’t be scared to spend it.
