About
City Tour Begin your journey at Kampong Glam, an area where modernity meets tradition. This district has a history that dates back to Singapore’s colonial era as the allocated area to the Malay, Arab and Bugis communities.
Explore the city by driving round the Civic District, passing by the Padang, Singapore Cricket Club, historic Parliament House and the National Gallery Singapore. The Gallery consists of the former Supreme Court Building and the City Hall.
Next, stop at the Merlion Park and enjoy the impressive views of Marina Bay. Do not miss out this picture-taking opportunity with The Merlion, a mythological creature that is part lion and part fish.
Visit Thian Hock Keng Temple, one of Singapore’s oldest Buddhist-Taoist temples, before driving past Chinatown.
Proceed to Singapore’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site – the Singapore Botanic Gardens and walk through the National Orchid Garden which boasts a sprawling display of 60,000 orchid plants

- Wei L00The worst family aquarium experienceIt was probably the worst aquarium experience we’ve ever had. First of all it is over priced. No annual tickets available and it costed over SGD80 for two adults( kids under 4 are free) per visit. Secondly, way too crowded! The line was long, my pram could barely move inside and couldn’t really see much either because of the crowd. It only took us less than 30 minutes to finish the tour… Last but not the least, there was no water and no seating! No free drinking water in such stinking hot weather with hundreds of people and they didn’t even sell bottled drinking water inside, only soft drinks… I don’t think my family will ever go back there again.
- Tvisha P00Must goGreat visit for all ages. Do keep plenty time-4 hours at least to see everything. Ques for Sentosa express can be long at exit times .but very well managed
- pauleV9062PB00Cable Car and Aquarium excellent combinationMany packages to pay for we had cable car unlimited and Aquarium. Cable was great, excellent views. Aquarium was one of largest I have seen in Asia. This is off season so not too busy but in high season it would be a nighmare. Lines to wait have signs "two hours from here" But good selection of all varieties of sea creatures. Great for kids. Cable car then the length of Sentosa and back just to see the views.
- Andy F00Underwhelming & unimpressedWent on this tour because (for very logistics purposes) it was the only one open to me. The organisation overall was poor. One couple, prior to my own pickup, were made to leave earlier than scheduled, and then kept waiting for an hour. All the drop-offs & pick-ups involved hanging around, as the bus/ driver wasn't there when he should have been. When we got to Marina Bay Sands, in order to visit the Skydeck, it was sold out & Tour East didn't have any tickets. A group of us was left hanging around while the tour leader continued heated discussions with the venue manager to actually get us in. The Skydeck visit itself was good, as was Gardens By The Bay, but the meal afterwards on the edge of Chinatown (at our own expense!) was another disaster over ordering & payment. The tour leader helped initially, but then just disappeared for 40 minutes. Again we had to wait around for transport back to our hotels. Incidentally Tour East also had to pick me up from the airport - they were very late, leaving me temporarily stranded & gave me zero info about my stopover (even though they were the local agents for my tour operator). Absolutely not impressed
- RB122400AvoidArrived at Changhi but no driver waiting for transfer to the City. Advised to go to information desk who tried to help but could only call a representative who was rude and unhelpful. Driver eventually arrived 40 minutes later with minibus rather than the booked “luxury transfer “ Attempted to leave us waiting in the bus to pick up other passengers- until our insistence that we get going. Tour East Singapore had subcontracted the service and showed no care. Avoid - a taxi would be better!
- CurlymikeT00Worth another visitVery professional, clean, good views and relaxing. Free wifi in many places which makes booking entry easy if you don't have a Sim card. All sorts of food for sale near the ticket office.
- dabud6900EnlighteningThe aquarium was spectacular, the rides were similar to disney or universal studios, the worst part was it was pouring rain for all of the outside activities, we were soaked!
- GARYJ95800Superb views over Singapore and Sentosa Island.Much enjoyed the cable car ride. Boarding was straightforward (we had pre-ordered our tickets on line). Well worth it for superb views over Singapore and Sentosa Island.
- derekbZ2604PK00Very poorly organised late start early finish bus not organised bus man not wanting to us and family with childrenStarted late finished early problems with the bus coming back did not want to take us. Had to get our own taxi poor The lady in charge of the tour very good
- lhorne_1100No show at airportWe arrived at Changi airport at 1.30 a.m. No one to greet us so went to General Information counter and lady there phoned them for us. Was told they had gone to airport previous day! Just told us to get taxi. No apology.
- juliewood5700Long wait for private transferDespite having a private transfer no one was waiting and there was no rep handy Had to call office, wait for someone to turn up and then no wait for a taxi Might as well have taken a taxi and saved an hour wait and money
- andrejpetkovski00Terrible and unsafeWe have used Tour East to organise our pickup and return service. Upon our arrival, the pickup driver was late and we were very worried that we'll have to find alternative transportation. We have 3 small children and luggages, this was very stressful. We have also been trying to call their numbers, but no one was picking up. Eventually, after we already engaged the Airport information desk to help us get transport, the driver appeared. The return shuttle was worse. The driver was also late. During the entire drive, he was on the mobile phone to someone, constantly looking at and holding the mobile phone, not paying attention to driving. At one point he was texting, I had to tell him to watch the road. My entire family was in this van and having someone so distracted was very unprofessional and extremely unsafe! The 2 children's car seats provided were not secured at all, not even a seatbelt to hold them, they were just placed on the car seats. Luckily I have identified this and secured them myself. I told the driver, he did not care at all. I had 2 small children sitting on them, so unsafe, this has infuriated me. So irresponsible! I have sent them a negative feedback via email a week ago and they did not bother to reply at all.
- Patrick M00Poor city tourLove singapore, this trip did not have a river cruise as stated, wandered around town,no arranged meal only a last minute stop in a shopping mall to get a quick snack. Awful value, avoid.
- Misterstonehead00Solemn Singapore WWll Battlefield TourOur guide was the very knowledgeable Antony who was so engaging and gave us a personal and intimate account of the Japanese occupation of Singapore and the visit to the Kranji War Cemetery was an emotional trip.We visited the Changi Cross at the Changi Museum, Changi Beach Massacre site, i recommend this trip if you visit Singapore
- 678lynnef00Disappointed at lack of communication and guidance. Basically a DIY eventThis was not an escorted tour of the island as I was expecting. Emails with tickets were received on the mini bus which collected passengers from different hotels and dropped us at Mount Faber cable car station. Once on Sentosa Island there was no guidance regarding location of the bus tour or advice on the ongoing cable cars on the island. Much time was wasted trying to work out where I needed to be. The bus tour when I finally took it in the afternoon was very good.

The light and sound show with dancing waters in Marina bay sand has been a beautiful experience. The view of merlion from the boat too was ecstatic. The shopping malls and the fountain of wealth too is a famous sight seeing in Singapore.

Got to see all the main areas and the beautiful Botanical Gardens. This tour gives you a small glimpse of all areas allowing you to return and spend more time.
Tour guide was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor.

A really efficient use of time on a city-wide tour of 3-4 hours, ideal for transit passengers or those in town just for a couple of days. We saw four main areas of interest - the Malay Village, Marina Bay, China Town and the Botanical Gardens Orchid Garden. The guide Natalie was a very likeable, caring and enthiastic speaker with a good sense of humour and fun. She provided extensive insights into the cultures and history of Singapore without overloading everyone with facts. A really memorable and valuable experience that has already put Singapore on my priority list for a longer return visit in the near future!

The visit to Little India, we would have preferred to have been left out and something else introduced.
Our Guide gave us some very interesting insight into the History of the rise of Singapore. However, after that first part he spent too much time talking about money.

Very knowledgeable and friendly guide. Had great tips for visiting the city. My daughters and I liked her a lot. Highly recommend Maarie(??) Loved the AC on the bus! Our stops were great Merlion and botanical gardens as well as the temple and shrine. My only recommendation would be that she wait until most of the tour group is near her before she starts talking about the location. Otherwise- well worth it and recommend.

Picked up a 08:30 but was 10:00 by the time we’d picked up last of the visitors.
Kampong glam was interesting, visited mosque and was given history of area.
Next was Merlion and commercial area for a 15min instagram stop.
On to China town and entry to Chinese temple guide provided tour.
Finally the orchid garden at botanical gardens where we were free to wander for 30mins.
Guide was friendly and provided lots of interesting info along the way.
Unfortunately as some visitors were late we were always behind schedule.
We returned to our hotels in smaller groups.

If you’d like a glimpse of different parts of the city, then I think this tour does a nice job. Singapore is wonderful. Lots of interesting neighborhoods. Marina Bay Sands is just one component. There’s lots more to see. The guide was helpful and made the tour diverse and fun. We loved visiting Singapore!

Driver arrived 45 minutes late in a mini bus and drove to venue to hand us over to a coach. My wife uses a mobility scooter and places like Merlion Park were completely inaccessible because of the need to use steps. Most of the tour time was walking around the botanic gardens. Next time we will stick to the HoHo bus to see the city!! A very disappointing experience.

I would like travellers to stay away from the Singapore as a travel destination. As this country has very fewer options to visit and the city is not happening as Dubai( since I visited) as a travel destination. Very expensive city, may be they don't have anything of their own. Everything is available is imported. So even if you visit do not purchase anything from Singapore. The marina by the bay is worst to visit. The Merlion is okay okay. Very good experience of Garden by the bay. Lot of walking very exhausting experience.

Singapore is a fantastic place. The gardens alone are worth the nearly day long journey from South Florida. The variety o cultures is fascinating. We only had three full days and are planning a Rey soon

Do you pick up from Changi Airport?
Roderic P

I think your question means: “is it easy to get a private taxi pick up from Changi?” Answer: emphatically yes. There are plentiful taxis and it is also easy to book a pick-up in advance instead of joining a taxi rank.

I read that it needs a minimum number of people for the tour to push through. what is the minimum? We are already 6 people.

There was no minimum requirement as the provider pools the various groups together. We were 5 and were picked up and dropped off at our hotel. The van brought us together with others that made one bus-load of tourists.

When I went on the Singapore city tour they didn't pick up at my hotel. Had to walk to hotel 5 minutes walk from where I was staying. They should advise you of which hotel they can pick you up from.
