Make sure you follow your tour guide after the stop
The tour guide should be more specific in the meeting point after the first stop. I strongly recommend they wave a flag and be more visual. 3 of us missed him. I ended up sharing a taxi with the other 2 people to the next point, this became very stressful and cost us a taxi fare.

    Not bad
The tour gave a good perspective of where we were located. Would have been better if there was a driver and a tour guide but the driver was both which we though took away from some of the information presented. Would have liked longer at each stop as 10 mins per stop was not adequate but we had 45 mins at Bondi beach. Nice air conditioned coach.

Great trip except for hotel transfers
The guide and venue presentations were very good but the transfer to and from our hotel left much to be improved on. Late pick up, racing drivers, poor suspension on mini bus, waiting on side of the road for ages to consolidate passengers two buses into one

Don't waste your time at Zoo nothing is there as night safari will cover all animals present in the zoo Also, don't take city tour as when you will visit all the above attractions you will travel through whole city. Plan your tour yourself, don't go with holiday planners, just take help for visas, air ticket and hotel booking if you cannot do it yourself. All the attractions can be planned and booked online and are available at cheaper price than the one holiday package planners offer means you can visit maximum attractions in the same price. For travelling to different attractions you can download GRAB app and can hire taxi (u can pay in Cash) (choose vehicle according to the number of persons) at very cheap prices and can enjoy your freedom of roaming around in the city Gud luck & Safe Travels

    Excellent service
The tour guide was excellent- first class service. She was extra helpful- taking photographs with my camera when there was a good view and pursuading another tourist ( not our group) to give me a seat at the light show.

    Very Disappointing experience
Waited in nearby hotel. Guidance indicated we would be met at 8.15 in nearby hotel foyer. At 8.30 a guy arrived and took us to his van. No commentary about the day to come. We were literally dumped at a cable car station. Virtually nobody around. Went to ticket desk- we had not been sent any on line tickets. Called the local tour operator who apologised and did then send the various tickets but no schedule as such. About 10am a coach turned up and guide appeared. We went to different locations. Fort Soliso was interesting and we could have spent longer there. There was a brief stop at main square with Universal Studios but no time to visit so wandered around somewhat aimlessly. Similarly for us the beach stop was pointless. We caught A bus to sea aquarium. This was interesting and we enjoyed walking around the various viewing stations but the elements are not unique. Finally we have to make our own way back to our hotel. The charge for the tour was £163. The tickets were SGD 43.50 so the tour company made a good profit out of us. We should have just made our own way there but if we had known we would not have gone at all.

A must to do on the second day of your arrival. Helps you create a good understanding of the place
I was fascinated by what this place had achieved over 50 years. I enjoyed learning about the history, what good leadership could achieve and was in awe of how humble and friendly Singaporeans are. Paul Than was a knowledgeable guide with great sense of humour

    Nice Morning
We booked a tour for this attraction with round trip transportation. The tour was only half day which was not enough time. The zoo has multiple parks but we just did the zoo itself. It is not overly large but was clean and the animals seemed happy. We went to Save the rainforest show and it was fun. I would suggest a full day and multiple parks if you can afford it!

    Poor transfer experience
The main issue was transfer. The driver picking us up at hotel waited in van for 15 minutes before coming in to collect us. After picking up next clients the driver was on his phone for a further 15 mins. After transferring to another van we were running late. About 15 minutes prior to arrival the mini bus broke down. It took about 30 minutes for a replacement van to arrive. Upon arrival we had to almost run to breakfast. We ended up only having 20 minutes for breakfast and most items were not available. We also missed most of the breakfast with orangutans session. We certainly did not get value for money. I feel we should get a refund for the breakfast. Tour operator cannot claim the breakdown was out of their control, as the van was old and obviously poorly maintained.

    Big disappointment
Driver arrived 45 minutes late in a mini bus and drove to venue to hand us over to a coach. My wife uses a mobility scooter and places like Merlion Park were completely inaccessible because of the need to use steps. Most of the tour time was walking around the botanic gardens. Next time we will stick to the HoHo bus to see the city!! A very disappointing experience.

We were in Singapore for Valentine and I was looking for something to do. I thought the Trishaw and river cruise would be a great way to spend time together and it was. It was nice to visit Pagoda Street and the meal at the Chinese restaurant was good. However, the highlight of the evening was the trishaw ride and the river cruise.

Starting out in Bugis was a little intense but once you got used to the ride, it was great. The best part was traveling through Little India where the vehicular traffic was light but the streets were alive with pedestrians. Our driver was great and he made it fun. Much like a Segway tour, the trishaw is a good speed to see things but not so fast you miss them. We both really enjoyed and would highly recommend.

Then the night cruise was awesome. Each new view around a river bend was more impressive than the last and then circling Marina Bay was incredible. We had seen during the day but Singapore is magical at night.

This is a great event for a couple to do and enjoy the evening any night, especially on Valentines. My wife and I highly recommend.

Fantastic tour- highly recommend as an introduction to Singapore, regardless of whether you’re on a stopover or vacationing in Singapore. Excellent value for money: dinner, trishaw ride, boat tour (view of Marina Bay Sands light show), and informed commentary throughout. Shout-out to our wonderful guide Anthony- thank you for a wonderful evening.

I don't believe it's worth the money. Chinese dinner was hardly dinner at all and is not enough food to feed so many people. You don't get to explore Bugis village at all, no time to stop and shop, same with Chinatown, you're taken straight to dinner and straight to the bus afterwards. The tour guide was lovely though and the river cruise was nice. However definitely not worth the hefty price tag.

We booked this tour last minute and Tour East staff went out of there way to accommodated us, thank you Ambun. We were the only two people on the tour as they have just restarted after Covid and I can say it was absolutely fantastic. Our tour guide Anthony was so informative, he knew everything there was to know about Singapore and being the only two on the tour, we had his undivided attention and could ask him anything we wanted. The dinner in China town was great and plentiful, Chinese tea, a soup, spring rolls, two main meals, fried rice and dessert.
The Trishaw ride was fun and we had great weather for it, the driver was happy to take photos for us. We gave him a $5 tip. Had a stroll through the Bugis Markets. But the highlight was the River boat cruise, relaxing, great photo opportunity and informative. Highly recommend this tour !

Hellish expensive for what is provided. The Chinatown dinner consisted of a plate of soft shell crumbed crab, a plate of brocoli, a plate of sweet and sour pork and a plate of fried rice. We had to pay for our own drinks. Some people on the tour either didnt like seafood or where allergic to it so that limited their food even futher. It was 1 plate of each per table of 10 people. It would have cost no more than $5 per person. It was a drive through Chinatown and Bugis Village. We were given 10 mins to look at the stalls in Chinatown. The trishaw ride was the only highlight of the tour. Not worth the money they are charging

We loved this tour! We were picked up at our hotel and headed to Chinatown. We had some time to walk around/shop and had a very good dinner at a very local Chinese restaurant. We then went to the trishaw location with an exciting trip through Little India. And finally, we headed to the bay for a great boat ride and spectacular view of the amazing architecture and lights of Singapore.

We decided to get out and see Singapore properly not just Orchard Road. Do we decided to take the tour of Chinatown, Little India and bum boat of the river.
It was a good casual way to see the various sights and delights.
Well worth a try.
The rickshaw drivers are very knowledgeable and helpful. Also take good photos too.

If it weren't for the boat ride on the river at the end of this tour, our rating would be lower. It was a rainy evening, which has some impact on the enjoyability of the tour, but other than that, there was not much to like. First, the hotel pickup was 20 minutes later than they stated, despite the fact that 6 of the 8 people picked up were from our hotel. Once at the remote transfer location, only 2 of us were for this tour. Two more were already in the small transfer van with the guide. We set off to Chinatown, and the guide gave a nice overview of the history and cultural aspects of Singapore. Once in Chinatown, the first stop is at a traditional Chinese medicine shop. The shop was nice looking, but the couple running it were only interested in selling us their wares. We did get a small container of mosquito bite treatment. This part only lasted less than 5 minutes. Then it was on to dinner. Before entering the restaurant, the guide advised us that we would have 45 minutes for dinner, then 45 minutes to wander through the market before the trishaw ride, so meet back here in 1.5 hours. The guide ushered up a long flight of stairs to what seemed like a fairly typical Chinese restaurant. The other couple with us on the tour spoke little English, but it became apparent fairly quickly that their background would not allow them to eat this type of food. Once the first course was brought to the table, they left. Since dinner had already been ordered, we were served food for 4. The food was only OK, nothing special. Once downstairs again, we did wander the market and picked up some fun items for a Lunar New Year party once we got home. The rain picked up again as we met for the trishaw ride. Felt bad for the drivers. They did have a relatively effective cover for the passenger compartment, but we still got wet. Unfortunately, you only go one block on a narrow Chinatown Street before reaching a six lane major roadway along which most of the ride occurs, with busses, large trucks and cars zooming by on both sides, and rain splashing up into the trishaw. Once at Clarke Quay, we did give the soaked driver a tip. The Singapore River Boat ride was next. After a brief delay in loading, we boarded the boat. Rain had lightened again, which was helpful. The boat ride was wonderful, with plenty to see along the river. Once in the lake in front of the Marina Bay Sands, we arrived just in time for the second half of the spectacular light and music show that they put on at the waterfront in front of the hotel each night at 8 and 9 pm. Got some great pictures of the show. Once back to Clarke Quay, we told our guide that we would make our own way back to the hotel, and spent some time touring the wonderful and lively Clarke Quay area before returning via MRT to our hotel. For our money, if we had this to do again, we would skip the first part and just do the river boat tour on our own.

This was our first visit to Singapore so having looked at the reviews thought this would be a good introduction to China Town. My advice would be just do it yourself. The trip was well enough organised but without been to critical was not very informative, the restaurant visited and the food awful compared to some of the excellent restaurants in China Town.
My advice would be get a taxi and do it on your own its a great place to visit.

This was a fantastic night with a well organised tour company and tour guide and to top it off a fantastic group of travellers. The evening started by us getting picked up by the tour company at our hotel. We all met at a central destination before walking through to Chinatown to a herbal medicine shop. There were no hard sells but just general information and an opportunity to look around. We then walked through Chinatown further and were taken to a restaurant which if it had not been for the tour, you would not know that it existed as it was upstairs situated between some market stalls. Food was great!!! From there we had a little time to shop around Chinatown before hopping on to our trishaws for a fantastic trip through the streets. Was not scary at all with buses, cars and trucks all sharing the road. Felt very safe. We then arrived at Clark quay and boarded our bum boat for a leisurely ride up the river to the marina where we had front row seats to the light show and all the delights that the marina has to offer. We could not fault this tour. Linda, our tour guide, was a gorgeous lady with a great sense of humour... highly recommended.
