Changi Lounge - very poor experience. Checked in after arriving at Singapore. Was told at reception the lounge has no toilets and the showers had been closed for 2 years and not sure when they will be opened. There is no food offered except for 3 types of pastries but the kitchen closed at 730 pm so all the lounge can offered was some basic coffee and tea limited to 3 per person.
The counter staff was reluctant to admit us as it is closing at 9 pm when it was 7 pm. We didn't mind the stingy offering as no other lounge accepted arriving passengers anymore. No explanation as to why we would pay for priority pass to enjoy such lousy food and drink (lack of it).
The counter staff was playing with his mobile most times and the lounge was almost deserted. It was closed 1 hr before 9 pm stopping visitors from going in. Not sure what to make out of the priority pass program now that T2 is closed (so the TGM restaurant and Plaza Premium lounge were no longer available. Jet Haven was closed permanently and SATS offered limited food options and Marhaba lounge was pathetic, no food at all. These lounges also stopped accepting arriving passengers.
We were hungry as airline food sucks so didn't mind paying for less than 2 hrs of sofa experience with a basic cappuccino.
What a disappointment. Is travelling going to be that bad post Covid?? What happened to the precovid Changi lounges experience and luxury?

I wish I could get my money back.
This is definitely the worst airport lounge ‘experience’ I have encountered.
The price for a 5 hour stay on the website stated 58SD but was charged 75SD.
Seating arrangements poor, cubicles empty for hours because they are reserved.
Really bad stains on the chairs we were in.
Very limited food selection.
Only one option for beer is Carlsberg, that’s fine if you can bear it, any other beer is chargeable.
The beer is served in a very small glass and then only half full. I put more liquid in my eyewash.
The same goes for Spirits, everything except Wine is chargeable.
We paid for the five hours but left early.
Definitely not premium. We won’t be back.

The cubicles that you mentioned are reserved for a family of 4 to 5 guest seated together as it is a family seating sofa, as for the menu we have just revised it on the 21st September and are now serving meals round clock. Carlsberg is the complimentary beer we are servicing, the glass that was offered holds 250ml of beer per serving and it is free flow.
Once again, I thank you your feedback and looking forward to see you again in Changi and Singapore.

This lounge allowed people to sleep across entire booth lounges, where a large group of 6 could have sat. On my first visit mid May every large-group booth lounge had somebody sleeping on it. The lounge had sleeping rooms so I asked the staff why these people were taking up the booth benches. They told me these people had to pay extra for the sleeping rooms. I told them I didn't think it was a good look not good ettiquette for any lounge to allow this. On this second visit, it was during a very busy morning and the front desk was about to turn me away, saying it was full. Looking inside, however, I could see individuals sleeping across these areas where 5 other people could be sitting. I again, expressed this is not a good look and shouldn't be allowed. We were allowed to enter anyway. Only to find no cups for making coffee. Asked three staff and 20minutes later there were still no clean cups available for coffee. The food and drink selection is very minimal and that's ok with me as all I wanted was a quiet, comfortable seat and a coffee. Their coffee is not great, it's from automated machines. Best to stay out in the terminal itself.

This place is very expensive for a very sub optimal experience. With Qantas lounge closed overnight, this seemed like a great idea. It was absolutely packed, every seat was taken except dining table and chair seating. No snack available after 11pm, people talking loudly on phones, bright lights all night and only 3 bathroom/shower facilities that we were told was a four hour wait. The place is very tired, shabby and unclean clean. No social distancing between seats. It cost us $100 each and we stayed exactly 20 minutes and left. Found a comfy lounge in a darkened area of the airport near by and grabbed four hours of sleep. Don’t go there. Rip off

Overpriced for what it is
We paid for 3 adults and 3 kids ( kids pay the same fare as adult)
The staff was very rude
The vip area that was designated for us to fit a family of 6 had ordinary chairs abs the light was very bright. It was 2am none of us could sleep as the light was so bright. We have asked staff to dim the lights so the kids could sleep staff said not possible.
Then it was so warm seems the air conditioner was not working I asked if temperature could be adjusted they said can’t it is centralized.
Then the food was terrible they had 3 Asian dishes available but looking disgusting, no western meal available. The snacks was limited to apple or some bread with ham and cheese. The coffee machine only coffee, cappuccino e no chocolate or any option for the kids apart of warm milk and water.
On the beverage selection no Coke Zero.
Overall we had a terrible 5 hours experience which I wish had never paid for it. Any other lounge or even the airport waiting area would be equivalent but free.

On arrival we’re offered a card with photos of food. Not at all appetising. We made our choice and given receipt. You then take the receipt to a food counter and wait for your food which is presented on plastic tray with plastic fork & spoon. Not knife. A bottle of water which was warm. I requested a bottle of cold water and said it wasn’t available. You could have chilled coke or other soft drinks which were chargeable. The food was awful!!
On the review it asked for photos. The Wi-Fi speed is so bad you can’t download the photos.

Air con not functioning properly. But that's the LEAST of the issues. The food is very limited and very slow to come out, and very very ordinary. Do not be fooled by the advertising about alcohol service....One type of beer and one type of white or red wine is included...all else is charged for at premium rates.

I saw the advertise in terminals $38++ for 3 hours. When I came here they are saying $45 for 3 hours and $10 per additional hour. On top of all they also charge service fees and GST.
I booked for 6 hours. The guy in the front reception didn't even tell that food needs to be order in reception too. Foods are included. But you can't get them straight from kitchen area. Foods are also like in flight meals. These are possibly cooked 2 days ago. Became very dry and awful.
Sitting areas are like typical sofas which you can easily get free throughout the terminals. There are some cubic which are very narrow.
It is more enjoyable in terminal open area then coming over to this lounge. This is no difference in here. You will get good freshly cooked food in terminal than pre-cooked food in this lounge.

I’ve been to a couple of airport lounges to get a feel of what experience I should be getting — and this is definitely not it!
First, I’ll do the pros. It’s a short list so it’ll be easy to get it out of the way. Each seat has its own chargers (universal + USB) which is more or less expected. You also get personal reading lights, though the turning angle is very limited and hardly did me any good. There is also a shower, but I did not choose to use that. Food quality was better than expected, although selection was limited.
Now come the problems. Seating. There were very limited sleeping seats, and I was unfortunate not to land myself one. During my stay, one obnoxious fellow traveller decided to blast his music loud enough for the entire hall; while not a problem with the facilities per se, I would have expected the staff to politely approach this irritant, sadly my expectation was too unrealistic perhaps.
My biggest complaint has to do with their air-conditioning, or rather, lack thereof. I sweat easily, even in air-conditioned room, and I was sure they didn’t have it on then. There were several small portable ground units, but they were nowhere enough to cool the place down. (The seat closest to them were all taken.) Because of this, I hurriedly left and found a better and cooler (figuratively and literally) spot to bunk my bumelsewhere, by the boarding halls.
The price was SGD38 (if I’m not mistaken) and would have resulted in some flipped tables had I paid that sum and received such nonsense. Even if access was complimentary, I do think certain standards ought to be kept. You do have to protect your brand name, after all…or do you not?

They take it to the lost and found and you go and pick it up there. We arrived about the same time and left the airport 9 hours later. Picked up luggage and went through customs and immigration. No issues.

They show to have showers available for an extra fee. I think it was 5.00 when I visited.

I am on a 9 hour layover from Perth to
Kolkata. I will be leaving from Terminal 3 for India. Which is the best and most convenient lounge to spend time. I am asking because there are apparently Plaza Premium lounges in each terminals. Thanks

The Plaza premium lounge was very good, we stayed for a 6 hour slot and would highly recommend unless you wanted a good few hours to just sleep, they they also offer that facility but for an extra cost. The airport is well serviced to move from one terminal to another via free sky train, 10 minutes terminal 1 (Premium lounge) to terminal 3.

My wife and I arrive early in the morning on a flight from London. We have quite a few hours to kill prior to booking into our hotel in Singapore and a tour we have planned. We'd like to use the facilities to freshen up, rest a little and have breakfast. Is it possible to gain access from the arrivals part of the terminal?

I don't know. But if you are a transit passenger you could make it work. You might try calling the lounge directly.

Yes there is a Sats Premier Lounge in Terminal 3. As is Terminal 1 and 2. However I have not been to that one.
