This was an amazing tour! Our tour guide Andrew shared so much about Singapore food and culture - this tour was an experience! Highly recommended for the insight and visits to parts of Singapore that after quite a few visits to Singapore had remained undiscovered until this tour.
The tour included street food experiences with opportunities to look at street art and temples.
And sooooo much food and many tips about food in Singapore. We left very very full and culturally informed. This was a tour I would highly recommend and huge appreciation to our knowledgeable guide, Andrew, who made it a bespoke experience!

What a fabulous way to experience the multi-cultural mix of Singapore. Our guide Bryan (Woopa Travels/Monster Day Tours) was awesome as he led us through the quarters of Singapore from China Town to Little India and then Kampong Glam(Malay). We sampled foods, heard about the history & some of the cultural highlights that make up modern Singapore. We talked & asked questions about the history as well as the current Singaporean way of life. Nothing was a problem & we thoroughly enjoyed our Singaporean experience.

We really enjoyed this tour. Whilst it was advertised as a small group of up to 8, in fact we were the only two people who’d booked that day. Very interesting mix of history, food and information about life in Singapore today (the latter mainly in answer to our questions/interest). Most time spent in Chinatown, but also visited Little India and Kampong Glam. A big thank you to our brilliant guide, Jeff.

Heya M8939VBtims, It is so great to hear that you guys had an enjoyable experience exploring the insides out of Singapore with us! We intentionally keep the tours small so that every guest can be attended to and kept engaged. And we are glad that you managed to learn more about Singapore's history, culture and also local life! Hope you enjoyed tasting our local foods too =) And yes, Jeff is indeed brilliant. Knowledgeable and super friendly, Jeff always gives his 100% to all his guests. He would be most happy to know that his efforts had been appreciated! Hope you had an amazing vacation and we hope to see you again on our tours! ~Love from the Monster team~

Good experience with the private food tour. We started at the City Center (museum) and learned so much about the history and development of present Singapore. So interesting! Tasted many different food that we probably would not otherwise have done. Visited several neighborhoods. Lots to eat so start with an empty stomach. Leo our guide was great. He helped my 90 year old mom get on a cab when she got tired halfway on the tour. The great advantage of being on a private tour😊. My husband, sister and I continued on with the tour and really enjoyed it.

My husband and I had a fantastic experience on tour. We booked this tour last minute to give us a quick overview of areas we might want to revisit.

Ching Meng was an amazing tour guide and was eager to share his knowledge of Singapore along with all the various cultural foods with us. He met us in our hotel lobby where he arranged a car to get to our first destination.

Ching Meng guided us through Chinatown and offered choices based on our preferences (we already sampled some of the foods prior to the tour). We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious foods ordered for us from the hawker stalls along with the rich history and culture lessons shared.

Next up, we went to Little India via MRT for more food and culture. Everything he ordered was simply amazing! We walked a lot but thoroughly enjoyed as we were able to see more of Singapore while also taking in more culture and history lessons as we walked. Arab street was our last experience for this tour. As we wrapped up our evening, Ching Meng shared tips for the remaining days of our trip in Singapore. We can’t wait to return to Singapore and see more!

This tour was superb and definitely recommend!

We had an amazing experience on this food and culture tour. We chose to book this at the beginning of our week in Singapore to give us an overview of areas we might want to revisit, and to help us through the jet lag after traveling from the US.

James was an excellent tour guide, and was eager to share his love of Singapore and food with us. He met us in our hotel lobby, where he arranged a car for our first destination.

James guided us through Chinatown, offering us choices based on our family’s preferences along the way. Our kids were pleasantly surprised by the delicious foods he ordered for us from the hawker stalls, and the history and culture lessons he shared along the way were insightful.

Next, we went to Little India via the MRT for more food and entertainment. Again, everything he ordered was fantastic! James gave us the option of taking the MRT or walking to our final stop. We chose walking to see more of Singapore, and were treated to seeing the locals enjoying a Saturday evening in a park as well as more culture and history lessons as we walked.

Arab street was our last experience for this tour. James ordered us drinks and shared the history the area. He also showed us where to pose for the best pictures. As we wrapped up our evening, James shared tips for the remaining days of our trip in Singapore. He even spent extra time walking with us to Bugis Street and showing us “hot pot” street. We can’t wait to go back when we aren’t stuffed from the food tour!

Our kids have requested to return to Chinatown for spring rolls, and rice cakes. They also said that I was right to have them skip lunch before we started our tour at 3:00 pm. This tour was a win!

Had an amazing time in Singapore with these guys!
I've taken a free walking tour of Chinatown and Little India and learned so much about the city. To be fair I am not usually too much of a group tour person but this one was so captivating and interesting! I would have never been able to discover all these hidden gems by myself and the guide was so much fun but also also knowledgeable in every aspect. So even if you usually (like me) prefer to discover the city on your own trust me, give it a try and you won't regret it :)

What an awesome tour and perfect way to start our vacation. Angel was fabulous and provide us a little Singapore history while trying different traditional foods at multiple hawker centers! I highly recommend this tour & try to do it on your first day, it was a great way to see the city & understand the hawker centers. Loved everything we tried but the Popiah were all of our favorites!

Bas is knowledgeable, approachable and always attentive to the needs of his tour participants. As a Singaporean, I was brought to places I’ve never been and learnt new information that I never knew. Highly recommend for tourists who want to gain an insight on the location and about our social housing, government and some history about our land.
