About the operator
- H781KVjohnb00A great introduction to SingaporeOur tour guide Su Lin was brilliant. When she arrived to pick us up I explained that my wife had an ankle injury that made walking any distance very painful. Su Lin immediately borrowed a wheelchair from our hotel and insisted on pushing it throughout our tour. The highlight was a visit to the National Orchid Garden, a World Heritage site with the world's biggest collection of orchids. We also enjoyed visiting Chinatown, where we stopped to have some street food and Little India. Throughout the tour Su Lin gave us information and answered our numerous questions on the history, the politics and the economy of Singapore. The whole tour was tailored to what we wanted to do with some helpful suggestions from Su Lin.
- DaveYucha00Absolutely fantastic way to see the best of Singapore in 6 hours!Pam was outstanding! A wealth of knowledge about the history, culture and cuisine of Singapore. We learned a ton about the history of the Lion City, as well as a number of fun facts along the way! Pam took us to several local food spots (hawkers) to experience multiple different types of Singaporean cuisine. She took dozens of pictures for us, and emailed them to us, as well as a recap as to what we saw and what we ate along the way. The tour involves walking (6 miles) and use of public transportation (buses and subway). A true insiders guide to the city. This was the perfect private tour to maximize your exposure to Singapore in a few hours. I absolutely recommend this tour, and Pam as your guide!
- Melodie P00A foodie marathon, with history and culture lessons too!We took this tour as a mother and 10yo son. Suling was our incredible, kind and knowledgeable guide. You could tell she really loved the city and she knew lots about it. She was kind and always had a bright smile. Tasty, delicious and a great way to spend the day. Not only did she take us to the food and order but she taught us about the history how the food was created, and even who created some of the dishes. The tour takes you through four different food districts. She helped us take photos of food and the sights! We couldn’t eat dinner after the marathon that started at 9am and finished at 4pm!! We couldn’t imagine a better day exploring multicultural Singapore!
- 999LisaC00Amazing food and so much more!May you be so lucky as to get Gee Soo as your guide. I took this tour on my first full day in Singapore and if I could give it 10 stars, I would. Gee Soo has boundless energy and enthusiasm and carefully takes you through many neighborhoods not only allowing you to learn about and taste delicious food but also to understand and experience the different cultures that make Singapore the amazing place that it is. He has a wealth of information to share, and after six hours, you leave with full bellies and so much new knowledge. Incredibly, he takes pictures of you and the group along the way and then provides a full itinerary of exactly what you tasted and saw. You can also download the photos from the shared drive that is provided for you after the tour. Just wonderful! I cannot say enough about the depth and breadth of what we were able to taste and see. The tour is well organized, well paced, and is not too demanding. There is some walking and it is quite hot, but we stayed in the shade when he was speaking to us about the different neighborhoods and it was not uncomfortable despite the high humidity. Ample hydration is provided throughout the tour, and hand sanitizer is also readily available. Do yourself a favor if you are in Singapore: take this tour! These memories will last a lifetime for me. Gee Soo went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience, and his kindness, knowledge, and incredible hospitality were so greatly appreciated.
- jos_r47000ExtraordinaryEverything was ok, Bibi is incredible She knows a lot of history and explain all very Good , times were perfect and the places we visit were spectacular
- gsaunders201600Great tour of the important areas of Singapore! We saw a lot of historical sites that we wouldn’t otherwise have seen! It was well narrated and our guide was excellent and made sure we had a nice time. Would do it again and in other cities as well!
- 122tamasm00Great tourGee and the agency have organized a perfect tour, interesting and well balanced. Our guide could not have been more helpful.
- ashantaw201600Great Experience! Our tour guide, Bibi, was excellent. She took us to beautiful places around Singapore. We went to beautiful Gardens by the Bay and Singapore Cable Car. We visited Chinatown, where we learned how modern-day Chinatown became after being shut down. We ate at the Hawker Centre, my best food in Singapore. Highly recommend!
- catherineh13000Great 9k walking tour w/Pam through Singapore!I had 24 hrs in Singapore so figured I’d spring for the 9k walking tour since it was my first visit. I found this through Airbnb, it took a bit to find an option that didn’t charge more for a solo traveler but this one worked perfectly! I was a bit nervous about all the walking/humidity but Pam was a fantastic guide, the time went so quickly…didn’t want to leave at the end! I thought the pace and timing were perfect. Pam was very knowledgeable, had an upbeat attitude and explained everything in detail but in such a way that you can remember the facts she shared. She also sent a helpful recap email at the end with a link to photos she took throughout. Loved the boat cruise through Clarke Quay to get the perspective from the water and we had a great sunset view from the top of Pinnacle at Duxton. Can’t recommend this tour enough, especially if you’re a solo traveler with little time in Singapore like I was!
- darrellj46200Exceptional timeGee Soo was the best!!! The tour did what it was suppose to do, to learn and experience Singapore.
- the5cootes00Beware if it rainsPlease be aware this tour will go ahead even in poor weather, we had continuous rain for the whole of our tour. Because of the weather, we missed out on many of the highlights. We didn’t visit the parks or go to Marina Bay or see the Fullerton Bay Hotel. St Andrews Cathedral was covered in netting and wasn’t visible, and most disappointing of all was no river cruise due to the rain. We didn’t look round clerk quay. Our Guide Daniel was very pleasant and he gave us lots of interesting information about the history of Singapore. We enjoyed the Hawker meal of chicken rice and the tea ceremony very much. Our visit up a typical residential tenement building involved a trip up and down in the lift and a 10 minute look over the walkway balcony at China town below. The visit to the two old Colonial buildings of city Hall and the national art gallery, involved standing under the new ( ish) glass and aluminium structure that joins the two old buildings together, and being told all about the joins construction. We didn’t visit any other part of these beautiful old buildings or see any exhibits/art. I understand that the weather cannot be predicted and that some of the itinerary has to be adjusted for weather and renovations. But there didn’t seem to be any plan B for such situations. Surely other attractions should be available. The only alternative to the river cruise offered was a visit to a Chinese sweet shop. This lack of any other alternatives is my reason for such a poor review. We were told we would get a refund for the river cruise part. I today received an email confirming that we would receive $11SD (approx £6.50) pp refund. In light of the fact the tour cost nearly £190 for two and we missed so many of the expected sights this feels very unsatisfactory. An alternative option to cancel on the day when the weather was so obviously appalling would have been appreciated.
- hopewell889900A Salute to "Hello! Singapore" Tour Team & "Majulah Singapura"!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+🌟+🌟+🌟 I definitely highly recommend this must see combined land and river cruise tour with this established well-planned and outstandingly-operated down to every detail🥇 Hello! Singapore tour company! Thanks to Khyati in the office for facilitating my urgent last minute request promptly, while I was waiting to take off in a plane🛫 to Singapore, converting it from a group tour into a private 1 on 1 guided tour to accommodate my recent knee injury issue (with mutually agreed additional fees due to the change). 🌟 Khyati is absolutely Fabulous in making my tour possible. Thank you Khyati! Special thanks to 🌟Daryl, the Awesome internationally well travelled, bilingual English and Mandarin speaking guide with wealth of Singaporean tourism knowledge (from history, economics, cultural, and also for pointing out the grounds for the upcoming exciting Singapore Grand Prix Formula One race in mid September!) Daryl is very professional, positive, patient and able to modify the tour to make it truly tourist's mobility-friendly for me! My 5 star tour started from the National Gallery, sighting of St Andrew's and CHIJMES' steeples, and identifying nearby city skyline, Merlion, a roof top 360 degree bird's eye view of Singapore's off shore merchant ships, modern and historical architectural marvels, and the famous 牛車水 Chinatown area that I have heard about. This tour ends with a bang 🎉with my favorite Hainan chicken rice and experiencing a delicate Chinese tea tasting ceremony sitting where the beloved 👑 Queen of England had long ago, sat and enjoyed the imperial Chinese tea at that exact modern day historical spot! A bonus honorable mention for the bird lovers is the chance sighting around late afternoon, of a large, possibly a Singaporean native 🌟 Grey-headed Fish Eagle or one of its relatives, with a wingspan of almost up to a meter wide, majestically circling, and hovering across the sky over the industrial harbour area and then it swooshed over to circling above the inland city area for a good total of 3 to 5 minutes unplanned serene Audubon time ! Great memories of this guided tour, complete with a welcoming back by my personal lucky sign of a soaring giant eagle in close proximity! Thank you the Hello! Singapore team for making it all possible! An 8 star tour for me! 👍👏👒
- lucycan00Full day private walking tourWe did a full day private walking tour with Pamela and had a great time. We discussed what we wanted to see, our interests, and timing and Pamela showed us around. She is a wealth of information on many topics and you could spend weeks on your own and not see as much as we did in one day. Thanks Pamela!

I had a wonderful tour with our guide Pamela and our small group of 5 Foodies. We explored foods I had not heard of and paced eating small bits through 6 hours exploring different parts of Singapore while tasting and learning about history and contemporary living. Great introduction to Singapore.

If you are a foodie, you have to do this tour. Kwang Wei did a wonderful job guiding us around some of the neighborhoods in Singapore. We were able to sample a wide range of local dishes along our route and it was a lot more food than I anticipated. Show up with an empty stomach!

Pam, our guide on this culinary tour of Singapore was so enthusiastic about the food and it's origins that the time flew by.
The food was excellent and it was great to eat it in places that locals were eating, that you would never find without the insider knowledge!

I cannot recommend this tour enough, especially at the start of your trip if possible to get to know the different neighborhoods and cuisine. Kwang Wei was our local guide and he was amazing - very informative, helpful and really cared about our overall comfort throughout the whole day. A huge scope of different foods to try at good portions - we didn't eat dinner that day because we were so full. Definitely wear a hat, bring plenty of water, an umbrella and bet on it being very hot and humid. Myself, my husband and a couple of family members all loved this experience and agreed it was the highlight of our trip!

This small group tour with Kwang was the highlight of my visit to Singapore! Kwang was not only so knowledgeable about the food culture in each area but was able to fill us in on the background of buildings and the history of the area. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in the diverse cultures in Singapore.

Fantastic way to spend 6 hours in and around Singapore with our amazing tour guide Pamela and 6 other great people sharing a tour full of sights and tastes. Pamela certainly knows her city and all the best places to eat. Her tour was relaxed and perfectly timed. We loved the curry puff and dosa the most but all the food and drinks were delicious.

I had the pleasure of going on this tour with Pamela and she was absolutely fantastic! Could not have asked for a better guide to take us around, show us some tasty treats and give us a quick history lesson! Pamela was professional but funny and engaging to both listen to and chat with! It was very easy to enjoy her company.
If you are worried about too little food or too much, don't worry you will NOT go hungry! We skipped dinner afterwards cause it was just SO filling.
This tour was recommended by a friend who was visiting Singapore as well and I would also recommend it to anyone visiting Singapore!

It was an absolutely great experience. We have seen so many different parts of Singapore and tasted delicious food and flavours. Kwan was s great and super friendly guide who also gave us lots of background and historical information.
It was just too much to eat , it was a shame that we had some left overs.

Are we able to bring our children under the age of 6 (in a stroller)?

I’m not sure, as I was a solo traveler and there were no children within our group. However, I don’t think that the tour is ideal for children under the age of 6 since you would need to walk and hop on public transportation in hot/rainy weather for around 6 hours.

We were very happy with the tour. There isn't really any extra food because the tour price includes cost of food where ever you stop, so there are no 'left overs"

Not really. There are (cramped) staircases that must be climbed to get to at least two of the 2nd-fl eateries on this tour, and I didn’t see any lift/elevator options. And I’d say that at about 3 of the 7 stops the food on offer wasn’t vegetarian. But then there were no vegetarians in our group, so it’s possible other options could’ve been offered if there had been.

I would very much like to take this tour but the remarks by the agency upon confirmation may scare me off. My husband and I are in our 70s, we love to explore cities by walking. We have regularly walked 5-6 miles a day in NYC, Disneyworld and many other places in the world as recently as 2 weeks ago. I would like to know how fast a pace we are expected to maintain on this tour. 2miles does not seem like that much as long as it isn't at a fast walk or jogging rate, and some breaks in between .Please give us guidance because we really want to participate and don't want to spend double the price for a private tour which they suggested if we felt we can't keep up. Thank you!

I think you could do the tour just fine. There are frequent stops, including sitting down to eat a few times. You don't walk the whole tour - you ride the bus a couple of times. Go for it!
