We like hop on and hop off bus tours as this is the easiest and a very effective way of getting to know a city. The plus was English audio guide - fun and informative. Minus - the bus would get stuck in normal city traffic, with no audio in-between. May be fill up these gaps with some information about the city

Had a great trip with Big Bus Singapore! Easy viewing of the city on the double decker bus. Upbeat and helpful staff. Introduced some new areas with which I was unfamiliar and was able to later to explore. Five stars!

The bus tour starts at SunTec City mall , which is where I would recommend boarding the tour due to high volume of passengers. There are two routes: red and yellow. The red route goes to more older traditional locations whilst the yellow goes round newer locations . Overall we preferred the red route. The commentary is by pre recorded headphones and is quite informative. The buses travel at a reasonable speed allowing you to view the sites easily. We booked the tickets online under big bus Singapore, and suddenly I received an email from a company called Headout and an SMS from a USA number ( also mentioning Headout). I was sceptical that I had been scammed but the tickets were within the mail and when we presented the tickets at the boarding point all was ok. So it does work ok. The red tour was very enjoyable but, for me, the journey through little India was the most memorable part due to the wonderful array of spice smells! We never got off the bus as stops were busy (it was Chinese new year time) and enjoyed seeing the sites.

Bus crowded and very VERY hard to find first meetup point if coming by city bus and then on foot. I didn't learn much that I didn't already know from the tape. Skipped my second day.

The Tour itself was okay, but the frequency of busses used was way to low. I did not get a real Hop On-Hop Off, because hopping off was always connected to very long waiting hours.

Handy way to see key parts of Singapore. The bus was clean, air conditioned and ran frequently. Commentary was provided in various languages and the drivers were friendly. Those was perfect to get around at our own pace

It is a great method of quick sight seeing in Singapore. It stops at all the major sites. If it is looks like it will rain it will. Enjoy the ride

It is a good way to see the highlights of the city. The company offers 2 routes around the city, with stops at good locations to see the sites. Options of 1 or 2 days (24 or 48hr periods). I bought a 1 day ticket at 11am; which gave me that afternoon & the following morning to access the bus. There is on-board recorded commentary (multiple languages) via headphones. You have the choice of the air-con downstairs or the open air upstairs (1/2 covered). The stairs are very tight & very steep, so be careful & sure-footed when using them. Tickets can be bought from Big Bus directly or via on-line voucher companies (for a discount).

Ok as a way of getting a feel for the layout of the city and for getting from place to place if it fits with your intended places to visit. Couple of points to note. 1. There is no drainage on the top floor and it had been raining when we took the first bus of the day. As the bus pulled away, a mini tidal wave of water surged down the bus under the seats filling my shoes and soaking my trousers. This continued washing back and forth until most of it found its' way down the stairs. 2. The earphones provided are, as would be expected, not the best quality. If you have some earphones with a 3mm jack plug you'll have a much better chance of hearing the commentary. It's worth noting the underground (MRT) is a cheap and easy way to getting better places once you've purchased the necessary travel card.

Big bus delivers a terrific product. It could be so much better with an upgrade to the buses, but more importantly the content. Too much clear air on the guided tour…folks there to listen and learn. More is more. That said, the hop on hop off is fabulous.

Thoroughly enjoyable city tour. The two day pass is good value and the information provided useful. There are two routes both worth taking. Download the App. What they don’t tell you is that it has a bus ‘coming’ tracker. This makes everything much easier to plan also it shows pictures of the exact bus stop. Thanks

Just wanted to share that Peter, the story teller and Daniel Singh the driver were amazing during my night tour. Peter brought the city of Singapore more to life with his personal stories. Daniel was a great driver considering the traffic jams we found! Overall I really appreciated the carefully planned experiences . It was fun and engaging!

Good tour of Singapore, stopping where you feel that needs a longer visit. Nice and helpful drivers. A good way to have an idea of thé main touristique spots of the city.
