This was an excellent tour - I learnt so much about the history and culture of Singapore and got a really good understanding of how the different areas connect together by walking around. The river cruise gave great views of the architecture and the juxtaposition of old and new. Richard (the tour guide) was very knowledgeable and friendly.

I joined the Singapore history and culture tour and had a really good experience with Hello Singapore Tours. The tour overall gave a good insight into the history and culture of Singapore. I especially enjoyed the Singapore river cruise which took you down the Singapore river, passing by many historical landmarks and buildings. The chicken rice that we had at the Maxwell food centre was super yummy and I also enjoyed the tea tasting session at the Chinese tea house. Our guide Kavin was very knowledgeable and friendly, and he did a fantastic job introducing Singapore's history, culture and many landmarks.

Gee Soo Boo gave a very informative perspective of Singapore. His personal interest in Singapore was clearly felt. Gee was extremely flexible and surprised us with a tour of the orchid gardens. Looking forward to meeting up with Gee on our return trip to complete our Singapore tours in a few weeks.

Gee Soo Boo and our driver Bernie were just the best anybody could ask for. Gee was very informative in his explanation of the sites we were shown. Bernie is a wonderful and safe driver. He dropped our group at each site at the closest available parking spot. Both were just a joy to experience our trip with.

Richard was a great guide. His knowledge of culture and history was very good. He was very open about explaining the culture of Singapore, including laws and living arrangements. I would highly recommend this tour as a food way to understand the Singapore people and this fascinating country.

Our family and my sister’s family went on a walking tour of Singapore with Gee Soo and had an absolutely amazing time! Gee was extremely knowledgeable and super flexible with the schedule. We started our tour just after arriving at our hotel, and he adjusted the plans so we could get some authentic Singapore meals at the start of the tour since we were all hungry from our travels. His recommendations were great and we saw everything we wanted to see and more. He was so engaging and the kids (ages 7-11) adored him too (they want to go back to Singapore just to see Gee again). We saw so much of Singapore, and learned so much too. We have done a lot of traveling around the world and been on many tours, but I think everyone in the group agreed that Gee gave the best tour we have ever been on. If you are traveling to Singapore, and can book a tour with Hello Singapore with Gee as you guide, DO IT! It is an outstanding tour!

Our full-day private tour with Su Ling was excptional. With very little input from us on what to see, she put together a comperhensive tour that included visiting Merlion Park, Gardens by the Bay, Chinatown, a delicious lunch at the Maxwell Hawker Center (during a quick downpour), the Buddha Tooth relic Temple, Little India and, the muslim quarter. As we traversed the city via taxis, the sub-way and on foot, Su Ling would sprinkle in hidden gems - temples, special architecture, shopping lanes, eaterys, the Atlas Bar, and statues. Traveling sometimes feels like you are treaspassing - with it's quick glimpses at everything, but our day with Su Ling felt we were seeing Singapore not only thru the eyes of a local, but a dear friend.

Stefan was a great guide and he customized our preferences and made sure to take us to places that we were interested in going to. It was a great way to explore different areas and also learn a little bit of history as well. The only complaint about this tour was that there was too much amazing food to eat in such a short period of time!

We had a wonderful 5 hour tour with Richard! He gave us great insight into many aspects of Singapore history, culture, and daily life. He also managed to include all places we asked to visit, and so much more. A private local guide is the way to go! I would have no hesitation in recommending this tour to anyone visiting Singapore.

I really enjoyed the Eat Like A Local tour. Great group, amazing food, and I learnt so much about the different districts, cultures and way of life in Singapore. I would definitely recommend doing the tour early in your stay as Su Ling emailed us after the tour with the details of what food we ate and where along with a huge list of other recommendations of other places to eat and things to do. I had a fabulous time on the evening sunset catamaran sail (as I did my first sail with them). This is my second sail with them in as many years. The boat was quite luxurious and the staff were efficient, professional and pleasant. The catamaran leaves out of Sentosa, which is very easy to get to via grab (Asia’s Uber). Meeting/Departing spot is One* 15 Marina in Sentosa Cove, a world class facility, where you’ll find 2 small gourmet grocery stores, a 7-11 and restroom facilities near the meeting spot. It is wonderful to see Singapore from the water. I really had a wonderful, peaceful sail with them and will book again next time I find myself in Singapore.
