We are 4 couples from New Jersey, USA, who spent one night followed 3 weeks later by 4 nights in the city of Singapore. Through my research, I came across two highly rated companies - Hello Hong Kong and Hello Singapore. Over a year ago, I started my communication with Kyati, my point person for my bookings in Singapore. She was absolutely wonderful, helping to put together a 5 tour package for my group of 8 for the 5 nights / 6 days we would be in Singapore. This included gardens, bicycle, cultural, food - it ran the whole gamut of everything to see and experience in Singapore. But the key to the entire tour trip, what made it memorable for all of us, was our tour guide Gee Soo Boo. He was with us for every step of the way on every tour, which was a fantastic move. Because Gee was not only knowledgeable, but he was engaging, funny, complimentary, focused on us...in short, he was the perfect tour guide. He readjusted tours on the fly for things we wanted added and things we didn't need to see. He cut back on some of the food when we got full from the food tour (there is A LOT to eat on this tour...be prepared!). In short, he and the team at Hello Singapore made our stay in Singapore the most memorable it could be. If you are reading this review, you would be foolish to book with any other company than this one, and also foolish if you don't request Gee Soo as your guide.

Gene is among the top three guides I've ever had the pleasure to enjoy in my travels. He blended the right mix of information with interesting, historical stories, all the while keep us moving through the amazing sights of Singapore. His pace was perfect for our group, and we never once lost interest. We feel like we saw exactly what we asked for... and then some Gene picks that were equally incredible. I would highly recommend Gene and Hello Singapore to anyone visiting the amazing city-state of Singapore!

What a fabulous day! Once again Gee Soo arranged a fantastic day in Singapore. He is so informative, flexible and accommodating. Truly a caring person who loves Singapore, his adopted country, his enthusiasm and knowledge is contagious! First, the 4 couples and Gee started off our tour in the historical part of Singapore. We saw the St. Andrew's Cathedral and continued to the National Gallery where we took in the million-dollar view from the roof top and we also made a quick stop at one of the holding cells at the Former Supreme Court Building. Next, we took the river boat cruise to see the old and new Singapore. Then, we took the bus to our next location to visit Pinnacle @ Duxton, the tallest public housing in Singapore where had another million-dollar view and learned more about public housing in Singapore. Lastly, we enjoyed the traditional Chinese tea appreciation at the Tea Chapter. We learned the bus and MRT (mass transit system) so well that we were able to take it the next day to return to areas that we wanted to explore more!!

This was our first time to Singapore which we brought my 87 yr old father. Richard made this tour not only enjoyable but informative. He was very considerate about my father and family needs. He gave us so much information about Singapore that we need to come back and stay longer. We were only here for a day before we had to leave for our cruise. I already want to plan on another trip to Singapore.

Gene was our tour guide and he was amazing! So knowledgeable and fun! He showed us all the great highlights of Singapore!

Our guide Gee Soo was fabulous!!! We had a day in Singapore before our tour, so he tailored our excursions so that we saw sights that we had not already seen. We visited the National Orchid Garden, the Kampong Glam, the Raffles hotel, the National Gallery and took a cruise on the Singapore River. He guided us through the subway system with ease! I especially liked the walking tour in the downtown area where he took us into several architecturally gorgeous buildings. The Atlas Bar was amazing!!! It was so helpful that he told us about events going on in the area near our hotel that night...a free concert and a light show at the National Gallery. We went on our own that night and enjoyed all the festivities! Additionally, Gee took pictures of us which he sent to us that night with a summary of where we had visited. Gee's diction is excellent and we had no problem communicating with him. He also has a very charming personality and we enjoyed his company. We felt so fortunate to have him as our guide.

We were able to achieve all the things on our list. Some old and some new, bringing back heaps of memories. We enjoyed hearing all the incites that Richard had, he was a wealth of knowledge. He tailored the tour to our needs

Gee Soo, Boo was our guide on this “food tour “. This was so much more. A little history, a little culture , a lot of food, all from a man who loves his country. I can’t recommend this tour enough. And with any luck, you will have Gee as your guide.

Our guide Gee Soo was amazing. So friendly, very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions the group had on Singapore. We really enjoyed seeing the different neighborhoods and learning more about the history of Singapore and local life as well as trying the local food. Would highly recommend

We did this tour our first morning in Singapore and it was a fabulous introduction to the city. We not only got to try a lot of food but we got some context for Singapore as we moved from neighborhood to neighborhood. Su Ling was amazing. This was so worth the price!

Pam did an excellent job showing us the highlights of Singapore featured on this trip. More importantly, she explained the history of Singapore in an enjoyable manner. We learned a lot and had a great deal of fun. Truly enjoyed the boat ride and tea ceremony.

Pam took us on a wonderful engaging and informative tour of Singapore/civic district, Clarke Quay ending in Chinatown where we ate at the famous chaotic hawker house and wrapped up with an elegant tea tasting. Pam clearly knows and loves the history and cultural of her city, taking us to viewing points and into neighborhoods we would not have known about and sharing the dynamics of the Singapore government and economy. The boat ride to the harbour area was delightful and the overall pace was efficient but not rushed. Highly recommend this tour and hope you get Pam as your guide!

Pam was very informative and enthusiastic informing the group with interesting stories and history of Singapore. We enjoyed our time touring the city with Pamela as our guide.

This tour is so good, especially if you have limited time. Su Ling was so knowledgable, a real professional and explained everything so well. It’s more than just getting the photo trophy’s for social media- you’ll actually learn a lot about the sites you visit and the culture. Tailor made and everything ran like clockwork - can’t fault this tour. Su Ling is so obliging and friendly too !
