    A great introduction to Singapore
Our tour guide Su Lin was brilliant. When she arrived to pick us up I explained that my wife had an ankle injury that made walking any distance very painful. Su Lin immediately borrowed a wheelchair from our hotel and insisted on pushing it throughout our tour. The highlight was a visit to the National Orchid Garden, a World Heritage site with the world's biggest collection of orchids. We also enjoyed visiting Chinatown, where we stopped to have some street food and Little India. Throughout the tour Su Lin gave us information and answered our numerous questions on the history, the politics and the economy of Singapore. The whole tour was tailored to what we wanted to do with some helpful suggestions from Su Lin.

    Fantastic Food Tour!
I had a wonderful tour with our guide Pamela and our small group of 5 Foodies. We explored foods I had not heard of and paced eating small bits through 6 hours exploring different parts of Singapore while tasting and learning about history and contemporary living. Great introduction to Singapore.

Great way to learn about Singapore through food
If you are a foodie, you have to do this tour. Kwang Wei did a wonderful job guiding us around some of the neighborhoods in Singapore. We were able to sample a wide range of local dishes along our route and it was a lot more food than I anticipated. Show up with an empty stomach!

A cultural walk through Singapore inspired by it's food
Pam, our guide on this culinary tour of Singapore was so enthusiastic about the food and it's origins that the time flew by. The food was excellent and it was great to eat it in places that locals were eating, that you would never find without the insider knowledge!

I cannot recommend this tour enough, especially at the start of your trip if possible to get to know the different neighborhoods and cuisine. Kwang Wei was our local guide and he was amazing - very informative, helpful and really cared about our overall comfort throughout the whole day. A huge scope of different foods to try at good portions - we didn't eat dinner that day because we were so full. Definitely wear a hat, bring plenty of water, an umbrella and bet on it being very hot and humid. Myself, my husband and a couple of family members all loved this experience and agreed it was the highlight of our trip!

Absolutely fantastic way to see the best of Singapore in 6 hours!
Pam was outstanding! A wealth of knowledge about the history, culture and cuisine of Singapore. We learned a ton about the history of the Lion City, as well as a number of fun facts along the way! Pam took us to several local food spots (hawkers) to experience multiple different types of Singaporean cuisine. She took dozens of pictures for us, and emailed them to us, as well as a recap as to what we saw and what we ate along the way. The tour involves walking (6 miles) and use of public transportation (buses and subway). A true insiders guide to the city. This was the perfect private tour to maximize your exposure to Singapore in a few hours. I absolutely recommend this tour, and Pam as your guide!

    Best day in Singapore
This small group tour with Kwang was the highlight of my visit to Singapore! Kwang was not only so knowledgeable about the food culture in each area but was able to fill us in on the background of buildings and the history of the area. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in the diverse cultures in Singapore.

A foodie marathon, with history and culture lessons too!
We took this tour as a mother and 10yo son. Suling was our incredible, kind and knowledgeable guide. You could tell she really loved the city and she knew lots about it. She was kind and always had a bright smile. Tasty, delicious and a great way to spend the day. Not only did she take us to the food and order but she taught us about the history how the food was created, and even who created some of the dishes. The tour takes you through four different food districts. She helped us take photos of food and the sights! We couldn’t eat dinner after the marathon that started at 9am and finished at 4pm!! We couldn’t imagine a better day exploring multicultural Singapore!

    Pleasurable and satisfying
Fantastic way to spend 6 hours in and around Singapore with our amazing tour guide Pamela and 6 other great people sharing a tour full of sights and tastes. Pamela certainly knows her city and all the best places to eat. Her tour was relaxed and perfectly timed. We loved the curry puff and dosa the most but all the food and drinks were delicious.

Amazing tour! Pamela is a gem!
I had the pleasure of going on this tour with Pamela and she was absolutely fantastic! Could not have asked for a better guide to take us around, show us some tasty treats and give us a quick history lesson! Pamela was professional but funny and engaging to both listen to and chat with! It was very easy to enjoy her company. If you are worried about too little food or too much, don't worry you will NOT go hungry! We skipped dinner afterwards cause it was just SO filling. This tour was recommended by a friend who was visiting Singapore as well and I would also recommend it to anyone visiting Singapore!

Amazing food and so much more!
May you be so lucky as to get Gee Soo as your guide. I took this tour on my first full day in Singapore and if I could give it 10 stars, I would. Gee Soo has boundless energy and enthusiasm and carefully takes you through many neighborhoods not only allowing you to learn about and taste delicious food but also to understand and experience the different cultures that make Singapore the amazing place that it is. He has a wealth of information to share, and after six hours, you leave with full bellies and so much new knowledge. Incredibly, he takes pictures of you and the group along the way and then provides a full itinerary of exactly what you tasted and saw. You can also download the photos from the shared drive that is provided for you after the tour. Just wonderful! I cannot say enough about the depth and breadth of what we were able to taste and see. The tour is well organized, well paced, and is not too demanding. There is some walking and it is quite hot, but we stayed in the shade when he was speaking to us about the different neighborhoods and it was not uncomfortable despite the high humidity. Ample hydration is provided throughout the tour, and hand sanitizer is also readily available. Do yourself a favor if you are in Singapore: take this tour! These memories will last a lifetime for me. Gee Soo went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience, and his kindness, knowledge, and incredible hospitality were so greatly appreciated.

    Great Experience!
Our tour guide, Bibi, was excellent. She took us to beautiful places around Singapore. We went to beautiful Gardens by the Bay and Singapore Cable Car. We visited Chinatown, where we learned how modern-day Chinatown became after being shut down. We ate at the Hawker Centre, my best food in Singapore. Highly recommend!

We had a very short time in Singapore and so booked a tour in order to find as much as we could about the city.
We were very pleased that we booked with Hello Singapore, our guide was Richard and he was extremely knowledgable about the whole area. The tour was extremely interesting and Richard took a lot of time and trouble to explain about the history and the customs and laws in Singapore. We felt as if we were being shown around this lovely city by an old friend. Richard took a lot of photographs of us which he emailed to us later in the evening and they will be a lovely reminder of our trip and everything we saw. When we told Richard we were hoping to see the light show at Marina Gardens, he very kindly altered the tour so we would have time to make the light show, not only that but he escorted us on the train and showed us exactly where to go. Incredible service and great kindness.
We loved the chicken & rice meal and it was very interesting to visit one of the Hawker centres and find out about the different food served there. The tea tasting at the local tea house was delightful and Richard kindly took more photographs and allowed us time to finish our tea without feeling rushed. The boat trip on the river was also very interesting and gave us a chance to sit and cool off a little as we took in the sights along the river.
We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Singapore, and if you are lucky enough to have Richard Kan as your guide you will not be disappointed. A huge thank you to Richard for his care and kindness and for giving us a very memorable time in Singapore.

Gee, our tour guide, was friendly and informative. Also very kids-friendly! I had my 5-years old and 8-years old with me but they were fine with walking pace and distance. We went around the city including National Gallery of Singapore, Maxwell Food Center (Hawker), and of course got to see and take photos with Merlion. The tour was everything what the tour description says and more. Gee was flexible with our schedule and made sure we got to our hotel safely at the end of the tour. We had our tour on the first day of the trip. I recommend everyone to have it on first few days as the tour includes all basics of the city.

We had a great tour with Daryl who took us to a number of places with amazing views of Singapore while telling us interesting facts about the culture and history of Singapore. Daryl was well informed and was able to answer all our questions. He was also very patient and flexible with our small group as we had our 4 year old (who was melting down) in tow. It was also a very hot and humid day and Daryl seemed to always find a pleasantly shady and breezy place to stand when he stopped to tell us interesting facts. I would definitely recommend this tour!

We couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to Singapore than the very special two days we spent with our guide Gee Soo of Hello Singapore tours! Gee Soo will be a friend for life, and Singapore will always be synonymous with Gee Soo. We biked, walked, took busses and trains around this marvelous city under his guidance and in his good company. We felt culturally immersed traveling with a local and learned so much through Gee Soo’s insights about Singapore history, culture, architecture, politics and urban planning. As a Travel Advisor, I will be recommending Project Expedition Hello Singapore Tours and requesting Gee Soo as a guide in the future. Thank you for making our visit to Singapore a most memorable one, full of heart! We are changed forever. Lisa and Jay Spiller

Gee Soo, you are a credit to Hello Singapore Tours.
Your enthusiasm and knowledge made for an awesome experience and we thank you.
Right from the moment we met you until the time we said goodbye, we had a great time.
The humidity was tough but that wasn't your fault.
I highly recommend a Gee Soo tour to anyone who wants to know about Singapore.

This tour is not for the casual sightseer. Richard gives a 4.5 hour serious short course on Singaporean history and culture! Lots of walking, lots of talking, lots of sights, and if you are up for it — you will learn. Richard is a true educator. He is also very solicitous of those on the tour. He took pictures of us along the way, saw us safely onto transport at tour’s end, and after the tour messaged us with suggestions for our trip to Malaysia.

Our tour guide, Daryl, was very knowledgeable, kind, and professional. I should add helpful. He used his on app to call for a ride back to the hotel. Another thing I must add is that the hotel gave me terrible directions to the meeting point, and instead of leaving me, he waited 10 minutes after the meeting time. The places we visited were interested, and even though it rained during the river cruise, it was still enjoyable. My favorite was the tea ceremony.
