Our guide was very prompt and gave us clear instructions on there to meet to start our tour. It was only my Husband and I and it was a great way to experience and learn about Hawker Food in Singapore.

Our guide selected so many delicious Singaporean Hawker dishes for us to try at many different Hawker Centres and well as provided interesting information to accompany the dish. He took photos of us with the dishes and then sent them to us after the tour with the names of the dishes included.

In addition to our food tour, we also visited The Pinnacle Sky Garden 50th Storey Skybridge which provided fantastic views of Singapore.

This is a fantastic tour and great way to see Singapore!

We've done several bike tours in lots of cities world-wide, and this one was one of the best! Our tour guide, HJ, met us at the metro station and was actully early. We were the only 2 people on the tour, so we were able to get started right away. He took us to a wet market, to several different temples, a few different hawker centers, the beach, and several other sites. He showed us parts of Singapore we never would have seen on our own. We stopped at least 4 or 5 times for bites of food to eat, and were -stuffed- by the end! If you do this tour, do NOT eat breakfast before going! All of the food was very local, and not touristy. HJ explained bits of the history of Singapore to us, as well as showed us the different influences present in the food and culture. He took several pictures for us along the way, and we had them all on our WhatsApp account before we even got back to our hotel. Great food, interesting sites, excellent info on the local area, and an educated guide--all the makings of a fantastic experience!

Today we did the bike and bite tour, great way to see the sights that are off the radar for most tourist, That was one of the many great things about this tour. Comfortable bikes that are easy to dismount that push along effortlessly. Our guide HJ was outstanding and considerate, what a way to mingle with the locals at their favourites!! We also toured local markets. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would do it again. Thanks for a great insight to Singapore HJ!!

HJ was a fantastic guide. He takes such good care of everyone on the tour making sure we keep up (slow biker here) and takes pictures for us. The stops are personalized you can tell this is a passion for him not just a job he really enjoys it. Make sure that everyone is well fed so come hungry. Loved the history and the unique stops that most places wouldn't notice. We even found some key places to come back to. The followup was great. He was exceptional in helping us with another "sister tour" get in touch because we only had WIFI access. Would recommend it to everyone. You feel like a friend who just came in town to visit.

We had a great morning riding through a part of Singapore that was totally new to us. Our host HJ was waiting for us with our, well maintained, bikes and we set off. We visited markets, food halls historic houses and temples. Riding through some historical areas and looking at the changing architecture added extra interest to our tour. Although it was the food that was the highlight! We enjoyed a lovely range of local foods and HJ explained about the ingredients and origins of each dish we tried. He also helped us to understand the history of each area and how the food halls and markets developed. We were completely full after the tour and guests probably should start with an empty stomach! We can’t recommend this experience highly enough it was fantastic.

If you love food, culture, and history, this a bike and food tour not to be missed! Especially for those visiting Singapore - for the first time or for the nth time - there is still much to learn about the island nation's food - and the interesting history of the various waves of immigrants that inspired them. We've been living in Singapore for more than a decade, and yet there was something novel about learning new things on this tour, as well as rediscovering things we thought we knew from a fresh perspective. From the mouthwatering perfect roti prata and nasi lemak in Geylang, to nyonya fare and the original laksa (and it's not preceded by a number!) at Katong, to enjoying various kueh while visiting Indian temples, Buddhist pavilions, and Peranakan shops, and resting and enjoying beautiful historic seaside apartments, we can't recommend this tour highly enough! HJ was the perfect tour guide - and it was doubly delightful as we were able to cover more ground in 4 hours on his trusty bikes. Thanks for the experience HJ - this is one way we'll be sure to encourage family and friends to see Singapore from now on.

This “Wheel n meal” tour was an amazing surprise.
Our friendly guide HJ guided us from food stall to food stall and we had the best Laksa, mackerel otah, dumplings, sweets ever in one of the oldest and typical districts: Katong.
HJ knows also a lot about the local history and culture.
HJ took a lot for of pics and sent them to us.
Truly a great tour! I highly recommend it.

The Katong Bite and Bike Food Tour lived up to our expectation and we enjoyed a relaxing morning with our guide HJ who led us to many food places in the eastern part of Singapore. This tour is ideal if you have already seen the major highlights of the city and want to experience some very good food and learn about the influence of the Malaysian and Chinese descendants on Singaporean food and architecture. The tour is also ideal as it combines great hawker food with a chance to work off the calories before you visit the next food destination. The mackeral otah, seafood laksa and Hainese chicken were especially delicious as were the many other snacks, soups and dessert we sampled. We left the tour very full and had to pass up on dessert at the last destination. HJ was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Be aware that the route includes biking on some narrow sidewalks which could be a challenge on days when the recycle bins are put out on the sidewalks in front of the residences.

HJ took us on a bike tour through the beautiful historic neighbourhood of Katong, We were asked to start the trip with an empty stomach, he surely made sure we didn't return home hungry. We stopped at a wet market, several food stalls and a kopi bar. While tasting the local specialties, HJ provided us with all kind of information about the particular snack. We had a great morning with friends, our excellent and funny guide made us forget the bad weather. We highly recommend this tour to any food lover!
