Great if you haven't seen a waterfall but if you have, then don't spend too much time there. The rest of the canopy walk and accompanying paraphernalia is great for kids. The weather did not want to cooperate as it had been raining for 3 days straight and was projected to continue. So we selected this option and we are glad we did. 1st of all our driver, Jawant, was wonderful! Not only was he pleasant, he was very knowledgeable he was patient and totally flexible to our needs. He made "spot on" recommendations and made our trip great. The tour company was responsive and helpful as well. They were even able to book admission tickets to additional venues as needed. What isnt clear is that you can visit the gardens and see the metal tree structures for free - you can just wander around with no need for a ticket at all. The gardens are very beautiful and definitely worth a visit. You have to pay to go in the cloud forest dome and the flower dome and also to go up the tallest metal tree structure or go on a walkway between the tree structures.
We had tickets to go in the cloud forest dome and to go up one of the two other options. The cloud forest dome is undoubtedly impressive and worth a visit but be prepared for it all to be very busy and touristy. We opted to go up to the observatory in the tallest tree rather than the skywalk and that was fun with great views but we queued for ages to go up in the lift and even longer to come down. We really wanted to use the stairs but we were not allowed to. The queue for the skywalk was even longer. We didn’t go in the flower dome as it would have been an extra $100 Singapore which seemed awfully expensive.
I really don’t think there is any advantage in buying tickets beforehand as it’s easy to buy them there at the same price and you may decide just to enjoy the free stuff and look at the impressive buildings or make a choice about what you really want to see when you get there and assess it for yourself.

Beautifully maintained gardens with two domes, each offering a very different experience. Flower Dome has a number of different climate zones showcasing plants, shrubs and trees from around the world. However, it was the orchid display in the centre of the dome which really captures the imagination. The Cloud Forest is dominated by the central tower with water cascading down in what is claimed to be the world's largest indoor waterfall. The dome also includes the cloud walk which puts you level with the tree canopy. The dome also currently includes figures, animals and flora from the film Avatar. Not a film I have watched but lots of people were happy to pose by various props for photographs so it is clearly popular. Outside gardens are also impressive with plenty of sculptures amongst the greenery. There is a food court in the gardens offering a varied choice of good quality food at reasonable prices.

The entrance is very clean and tidy with approximately 3 shelters or glass rooms of various species of plants closed at 9 p.m. I just visited the colud forest Ticket person $24 Sangfori almost needed an hour in

We stopped in Singapore on the way back from a visit to family in Australia. We have done this several times but not since 2014. How has Singapore changed. It is almost unrecognisable from the old city. It is now a city of skyscrapers, gone are the small shops instead we have massive malls with high-end shops such as Louis Vuitton, Rolex, Gucci etc. Not something the casual visitor requires. There are still some of the good points that have fashioned Singapore, the MRT has expanded its network and works very well, it is efficient, clean and runs to time and connections are scheduled so that you never have to wait more than three or four minutes until your train arrives. And of course there are the old favourites, Boat Quay, Clarks Quay and Raffles. The one new attraction that is a must for everyone is The Gardens at the Bay, and especially at night for the light show.

We initially thought this was expensive but you did gain access to 3 things- flower dome and Monet exhibition and the cloud forest so it was pretty goos. We spend a solid morning here looking at these. Flowers and cloud were spectacular.

Officially, credit card payments are blocked and cannot be used,
I booked through Tripadviser after some trouble.
They arranged tickets for us the night before and we had no problem using them.
There were not many people at the ticket window on the day, so it would have been good to buy locally, but I am happy to have been able to go there with peace of mind.

With a large amount of road side cafes and quality restaurants, Singapore is a real travelers gem. Sightseeing tours at affordable prices are available every day of the week with clear English speaking guides. The bay sands resorts have everything for shoppers delight. Bought a same day ticket when the park website did not allow it. Nana issued my e-ticket within one hour. Just be sure to contact her on WhatsApp. Highly recommend visiting Marina Bay Gardens, the sites were spectacular
