      Great guide, great food
We spent a wonderful morning with Corliss who shared both her food and historical knowledge of Singapore. She was a considerate guide and took time to explain everything. The food venues we visited were varied and delicious. The communication before the tour was excellent, making sure we were in the right place at the right time. I would highly recommend this tour and hopefully you will be lucky enough to get Corliss as your guide.

Ethnic quarters shown by a Singapourian who has seen his country grow
We really enjoyed the tour with Chan, who experienced his country growing since the sixties. Very knowledgeable, he had answers to all questions you may want to ask. He showed us places we would not have noticed on regular 'highlights tour'. The tour operator provided a chilled botyle of water at the start of the tour. Tickets are provided for two short subway rides between different stops. Bathroom/drink breaks proposed by a guide through the tour. Bring good walking shoes, not flip-flops. My 14 year-old enjoyed it, but my 11 year-old was tired and overwhelmed at the end. Perhaps it is too much walking for very young children. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend it.

      Once in a lifetime experience!
This was truly a once in a lifetime event. Our guide, Yap, was amazing and went beyond our expectations. He truly brought the evolution of Singapore to life by not only explaining how people came to Singapore, worked and lived but took the time to explain how it is for people living in Singapore today. It went way beyond a food tasting trip and every dish was fantastic from cakes to coffee to the famous chicken and rice. As for the food, we went from new Michelin rated stalls to where Singaporians eat as well. We even went to a local coffee house to learn how coffee came to Singapore, how to order correctly and the extensiveness of the Singapore coffee culture. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone coming to Singapore and want to experience real Singapore and its vast food options.

      Great tour with Corliss
Corliss was great, full of interesting fact. She was really sensitive to the heat throughout the tour, making sure there was always shade for us to stand in while she was telling us all about the areas. She made sure all our questions were answered & even went beyond the tour time so one of the group could see the temple she was keen to visit! We would definitely recommend a tour with Corliss 👍

      Great introduction to Singapore
This was a great small-group walking tour. It was 3 hours and gave an overview of Little India and Kampong Glam, then ended in Chinatown. It was well-paced and included a stop for drinks and snacks at a hawker centre in Little India. It used the MRT to move between districts, making it a great introduction for people who are new to Singapore as our (really good) guide also explained how the MRT works, and how to get your food at hawker centres. It's not designed to be a deep dive into the 3 areas but gave a good overview of their histories and interesting parts. Our guide also pointed out lots of restaurants and eateries she liked, at a variety of price points, and things that we could go back to see in more depth later if we wanted to, like temples, mosques and shopping areas. It's not an accessible tour and, as quite a lot is covered in the 3 hours, as well as being out in the heat, a little bit of fitness is required. I'd definitely recommend this tour as an introduction to these parts of Singapore.

Excellent tour led by Robin and faciliated by Zenna. From start to end, Robin was a superb guide full of knowledge about the sights we saw and always ready to answer any questions we had. The boat ride was so comfortable and such a unique experience that we didn't want it to end. You get to see kelongs, Pulau Ubin, and pass by various interesting ships/boats, all of which Robin had a story for.

Shout-out to Zenna as well, who was so hardworking in the planning of the tour. Our original date got cancelled yet she managed to pull together a group at such short notice.

We're glad we used our vouchers on this tour and will certainly recommend it to our friends and family.

We had a wonderful time on this trip. Robin our captain was bilingual and provide good commentary of different kelongs, we went around Ubin Island to see a different part of Ubin. He was interactive and engaging with old and young. The sun set was spectacular.... the live catch at the kelong was fun. $20 per catch ... not bad the red snapper we caught was more then 1 kg size. We also bought live grouper $30 per fish.

Robin Loh's private boat tour of the seaways around Pulau Ubin and a stop at a fish farm is a fabulous family outing on a very comfortable boat that takes a maximum of 11 passengers. Starting from The SAF Yacht Club in Sembawang, Robin took us on an informative and educational excursion past major landmarks on both Singapore and Johor shores. With many stops in the water to take in highlights, Robin regaled us with gems of information and stories both of lore and of recent history. For those of us who remember the old Singapore, how the northern shoreline has developed over the years is nothing short of remarkable. With new juxtaposed with old, it was a journey of both nostalgia and revelation.

The highlight must be the 40 minutes or so spent at a most unusual fish farm, which was attached to a refurbished sand barge containing a seafood restaurant, billiards table and comfortable deck lounge with sea views all around. There we were treated to cold drinks and a bit of a rest.

We had expected a rather more basic fish farm, but Robin explained that these were unsuitable for casual visitors as they were rather makeshift and could be dangerous to board and walk around. The children loved fishing with a pole, with a guaranteed catch of red snapper, which the proprietors cleaned, gutted and vacuum packed with ice for us to take home.

On the way home, we stopped over shoals of small fish leaping out of the water, exciting all the children tremendously. As none of us was strapped for time, Robin kindly extended his tour for us to take in views of Senoko power station, Senoko fish harbour and market, then Woodlands and its solar panel farm in the sea, within sight of the causeway.

Robin revealed that although he had been boating these waterways for over 20 years, he had only started his tour business last July, But already he is an accomplished tour guide. We had such a wonderful time and would highly recommend Robin's tour as one of the best things to do on the waters around Singapore. And the fish, lightly seasoned and steamed, was absolutely fresh and delicious!

We started off from SAF Yacht Club with our tour guide (Mr. Robin) who was also the captain of our yacht. Robin brought us along the northern coast of Singapore towards Pulau Ubin, stopping occasionally to introduce and explain some key sites and locations (e.g. Sembawang Shipyard, Punggol Jetty, mangroves swamp along Pulau Ubin, etc). After the sightseeing, we arrived at the kelong and had our dinner there. The food was great and restaurant staffs were approachable. The weather was cooling and the ride was smooth and comfortable.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour was educational and insightful, especially for us who don’t usually come to this part of our country. The tour is also suitable for young children and seniors.

The price of the tour was reasonable and we were able to use our SR vouchers to offset. COVID-19 SMM was observed throughout the tour and at the kelong.

Overall, we highly recommend this tour and many thanks to our tour guide for the excellent job.

This was a truly great experience- we enjoyed the boat ride going out to Palau Ubin, visit the fish farms and have lunch on a floating restaurant out there.
Our skipper Robin has been an excellent guide.

Would recommend that tour to family and friends who want to explore some other views of Singapore and have a couple of great hours on a boat with a nice guide.

Robin is a very friendly and informative guide that is very enthusiastic and helpful, showing and sharing about the unknown facts about the other islands surrounding Singapore! Even an unexpected Jurassic ride along the mangroves!
The boat sits comfortably 10pax and is very well kept.
Kelong dinner at Smith Marine floating restaurant was amazing, $180 also includes your own “sure catch” fish. The fish does not have the chemical taste that is often found in farmed fishes and tastes amazing not to mention fresh as it was only caught moments before dinner.

Our guide Robin is very friendly and he knows the northern coastal area of Singapore very well. Glad to learn a lot of interesting things about the history and heritage of the area today. We were very fortunate to enjoy great weather today... which makes the scenery look even more amazing on photos. The boat looks quite new and the 3-hour ride feels very comfortable. My family enjoyed the trip very much.

Excellent tour of the the northeastern coast of Singapore! Very unique experience that provides an informative look at our kelongs, surrounding islands and maritime features. We were pleasantly surprised by the interesting tidbits and hidden secrets that were shared by our guide Robin regarding our local waters during the trip. It is definitely a tour that I would strongly recommend for families and friends who are looking for a different type of cruise.

5 of us book this guided boat tour using the Spore Discover Vouchers. The yacht is good size and clean, just nice for a group of 5 to sit at the front and another group of 5 to sit at the back, adhering to the covid-19 safe distance measure. It was a comfortable ride and we enjoyed the sea breeze very much. Robin is patient and shared many knowledge with us. The tour was well organised. We had dinner at Smith Marine Floating Restaurant (at own cost) and Robin checked with us on our menu selection days before the tour. Everything went very smooth despite the unpredictable weather and we managed to complete the tour before the storm started though there is slight drizzling of the rain on our ride back. It was a fun memorable experience.

Thanks Captain Robin for organising such an interesting boat ride! The good morning weather plus the beautiful scenery makes you forget that you are still in Singapore during a pandemic period. Robin’s sharing with regards to some of the smaller islands around Singapore was astounding. You get to see Seletar Island and Pulau Ketam up close. We were lucky enough that the tide was high to steer closer to the mangrove banks. It was a revisit of a Geography lesson when Robin shared about how important the mangrove trees were for the coastal areas and ocean sustainability in general. Always fortunate to have a good guide for such trips! So let’s go for a sunset boat ride next!!!
